This product is using the brand new developed Action body RM-3 and it is ENTERBAY 3th generation RM-Body. This body has more movable joints than those ones in the past. It is a lot lighter than the other RM-bodies, so that this would improve the activity and stability.

Does the wooden Dummy has the chinese writing (characters) on it? I think when I watched the movie, my wife translated it and it said "the wife is the boss"

My wife cracked up when she saw that.

I also noticed the chinese black suit isn't the same at the FOF Chinese New Year black suit that people were expecting. Makes me happy the FOF Black Suit is still unique.

$35 seems to be a flatrate for shipping, I can't imagine it being picked up for less in US stores unless a bulk discount is passed on to consumers. I just preordered mine from EB, I'm glad I held out and didn't grab one of the preorders from China.

Magnetic slippers??! So we can really get some low-kick posing with the wooden dummy? EB had me with the feather duster

EB have charged my card - I used paypal and have a receipt for it. I trust the company and feel ok about the up-front cash. I guess like a lot of other members interested in this figure I'm trying to balance being anxious to secure it ahead of any sell-out and price hikes, and holding back on more details and what stores will be stocking it.

The winner for me was that I'm stuck in the world's action figure backwater, so $35 for shipping is around ten bucks cheaper than I pay for stuff coming from the US. I reckon a lot of places will be asking $200 just for the figure.

I haven't even seen the movie, but I was a huge wing chun fan back in the day and we had a portrait of 'Yip Man' in our gym. He was my master's master's master, so I had to get him. The clips I've seen of the movie look awesome and I'm going to watch it this weekend. A case of the merchandise selling the movie

hahah I am so amazed at how ppl in this forum react so much diff than ppl in other hong kong forums.... basically most hk ppl have issues with enterbay, being that they had MAJOR delays for their release of storm warriors but most importantly, the mass produced head sculpt of the main character differs WAY differently than the prototype.... not to mention they always seem to have many excuses.

I dunno how many percentage of ppl that say "yes" + "horray" for this prototype are chinese, but for chinese ppl we could tell that it doesn't really look like donnie yen at all in many angles. However, to be very fair, personally I think that if the final product can keep it up to the prototype then it's a good figure (but no, sorry, I don't think it worths this price knowing the general build quality of EB figures: loose joints, lack of joints etc. ). After recent incidents of the storm warrior figures, many ppl are not stupid enough to pre-order anything from EB again, they'd rather see the real product first (since they know that it differs WAY too much from the prototype, and also not to mention that the figures won't really sell out)

I am personally from Hong Kong and I really wish EB could do well since it's a HK co. but from recent incidents it's telling me that it's far from a satisfactory company.... but i guess they still got a huge overseas market...so more the power to them.

Interesting. I guess it's because not many of us even have the Storm Warrior figures to make a judgment on them. They look pretty good in pics, maybe some things a little dodgy at extreme close-ups, but who knows how most of us will feel in person. And I'm sure it's a general consensus people have issues with their bodies too, hopefully their new body is an improvement. I think EB needs to do what HT is doing and make their prototype images closely resemble how the production figures are going to look. When EB shows a completely masterful, one-of-a-kind paint job for their protos, they have to expect some backlash.

And I agree, the pics they put it doesn't look 100% like Donnie, though it's close. I'm also anticipating what it looks like in-hand... but I also don't want to risk it being sold out.

Though, you say EB stuff doesn't really sell out? Hrmm, that's odd since figures like Jet Li and Bruce Lee are fetching high prices these days.

The first proto pic really looks like donnie. The final ones (above pics) is not so close. I dunno what happened there
