After reading all the arguments, I decided to give it a try for both heads for replacing DML headsculpts and some other custom like I am Legend. Will post some screenshots here when they arrive.

You bought the bootlegs? But aren't they as expensive or even more expensive than the real heads are going for? I could be mistaking fakes for the real thing but from what I can tell the last authetic TLJ went for $55 and the last two Smiths went for $65. You're then paying more or even a comparable price to the real thing, that seems crazy.
 
Thanks for the advice. Actually I am still considering. You need luck in winning authentic headsculpt in low price. I know here people hate bootlegs, so please forget what I said.
 
I don't have any issue with bootlegs, I'm just saying it seems to me like you can get the real thing for less or at least a comparable price. And I don't think you need luck, it looks like that's the going-rate for the real heads at the moment.

Beyond that, surely there will be more bootlegs in the future, lower prices, etc, $120 here I don't believe is a price you need to jump on right now.

For advice, I can understand not really caring about the difference between the two Smiths, both look acceptable to me, but the TLJ is a big difference. It'd be crazy to pay $60 for that bootleg when you can get the real thing for $55, maybe $65 at worst.
 
Anyone have any idea how I can get issues resolved with EB. They still have not picked up my return shipment from their PO over a week later. Not answering e-mails and I even called the other morning and gave them my information. Nothing has been done. I'm at a loss. I am past my Paypal dispute window. As it stands now I am out almost $450.
 
Wai-Man from OneSixthBruce shares a pretty good rapport with the folks at EB. Maybe you could PM him and ask him to forward a responsible person's mailing address ?
 
K's sculpt is great... but they definitely overdid the redness and the annoying ****ing shiny **** that they seem to have glossed every sculpt over.

And don't tell me yours isn't shiny. Every pic of him shows him being shiny.

Contact your bank's fraud department and ask if they can help.

If you ask MxBxSome**** he probably will advise you to just assault anyone on street and get your money back.
 
Unfortunately payment was made with my existing paypal balance. Not much my bank could do to help in this aspect. Thanks for trying though.

The 45 day limit is really where PayPal fails. A bank would possibly be able to do something.
 
If your cc is linked to your PayPal you still have recourse through your cc provider I think. My dispute period is 60 days.

I tried that once and my bank referred me to PayPal. Essentially, you would have to claim PayPal did something unauthorized.

I do hope EB are simply being slow on this... what kind of company ignores a legitimate request for a refund?

Exactly. After they approved the return and refund as well as return shipping charges. They have had to received notice that the package is at their PO a few times now considering they have been there since August 6th. Several e-mails, a phone call and a post on their FB page and I am still being ignored. In my eyes until they make it right this is theft. My guess is they let them sit there until my Paypal window expired. Which was early last week.
 
But in the past, with other PP cases, it was undeniably in their interest to respond. If they didn't respond, it's an automatic refund - their money lost. In many of these instances they're not gaining anything by not answering emails relating to PP cases. Because of that I really think it's all down to poor/limited customer service simply not keeping on top of emails/returns/etc, not some calculated plan to try to rip people off or whatever.
