I can't see why these would not be available in the U.S., Upper Deck having rights over MJ merchandise is the only difference I see between MJ and Kobe and I can't imagine why UD would be against this released worldwide, it's not as though they have a similar product with a market to protect.

As has been mentioned though, there could be legal reasons for not having official U.S. sales of the figures, no matter what EB wants to do.

I remember something similar with the EB Kobe figure. If I remember correctly, it wasn't available to the US. It said so on EB's site (previous version of their site). But US peeps could still order Kobe directly from them, so I'm not sure why they bothered saying it wasn't available to US peeps. Maybe it was there as a deterrent against legal action Now Kobe's on BBTS, so maybe things have changed.

I don't think regular US collectors will come across too much problems trying to get a regular Jordan figure. Unless you call ordering direct from Enterbay a problem

BBTS sometimes carries Asia-exclusive releases on its site. They apparently don't sell directly, but buy through a middle man. So, it costs more than if, say, Diamond distributed something.

I actually called UD and spoke with a rep who told me that UD only sold the rights to EB and they had nothing to do with the product design or development. UD will also not be carrying the EB figs on their site.

Yes that correct, looks like the #45 Jordan (HOME) figure will not be released in North America (again) but somewhere in Asia...

He never mention it but a toy shop at Guangzhou in China opens Jordan 23 PO for about USD 230 more or less.....well, just wait and see cos gonna be lots of 23 in Asia, and all friends from North America & America can buy it thru OL......I hope Bill will not sit back and too enjoy his MJ profit in Europe too long

BBTS is my number one choice, then Alter Ego and lastly CSC. Unless my LCS surprises me with this like they did with the EB Joker and Batman
