Damn. This is sooo tempting. :lol
But I have to hold out for the red 23. Congrats to those who are picking this up.

Wow, I'm not really into Basketball as much as I was when I was younger, but I HAVE to get this. Looks like I'm waiting for the #23...

Wouldn't it be awesome if EB made NHL figures? Imagine a #99 The Great One next to Jordan in a detolf...

Hmm. maybe a prostars reunion?

It is tempting. I ordered but still might cancel... $400 bones is a LOT for an extra warm up & wrong number. Does anyone have any idea what the regular #23 is going to cost? $250?

I would hope the regular is no more than $250, considering Kobe was $180 and most of their figures are $180 now. $250 would be a pretty huge premium, unless it came with some extras (couple jerseys, shoes, sculpts). $400 for the "exclusive" is just insane, especially because you only get 1 head sculpt, the $180 Kobe came with 2 sculpts!

Does anyone think other retailers in the US will get their hands on the "Exclusive" at a cheaper price? I mean the MSRP might be $300 on this and BBTS is just adding $100 because they can (only one out there right now for pre-order). 3,000 is not that "Exclusive" especially at this price point. at $100-$150 its semi-exclusive, at $400 its too many. Think about star wars figures, those are popular all over the world as well but if they made a $400 Darth Vader and said they made 3,000, how many would actually sell?

I agree 100%. It will be interesting to see how it all plays out. I do believe there is a bigger market for Jordan than darth though. Star Wars is HUGE yes... But with Jordan I think you are tapping into an even broader market. Men and women of all ages and all interests who wouldn't be caught dead buying a "doll" will be looking long and hard at this one. You said it best with BBTS's $100 mark up. And they seam to be selling pretty well... They are the only one here in the US of course...

Also the white 45's sculpt is with a goatee, not the mustache version which is a more common look for MJ.

Provided they do not re-release the goatee head sculpts or the warm up suits, this is going to be a sought after piece long after the regular #23 figure comes out. There's going to be that segment of collectors who will want to pose their figures in the warm ups especially. If Enterbay does not include these in future releases, that itself will be a premium exclusive accessory that will be hot with 1/6 MJ collectors.

And yes, even though 3000 pieces are made, the demand will quickly swallow these up. Because as many have mentioned in previous responses, it's not just us figure collectors that will want this. The Sneakerheads at NikeTalk and other sneaker forums are already buzzing about it. I'm sure the sports figure collector who has since moved on from SLU's and McFarlane SportsPicks will also be interested in these.

Was that the head from Ebay?
Can you take some pics of it?

Anyone know how they make those prints on the jersey fabric?
Would like to make my own jerseys, but can't figure out what to use to make the white print? Thought it was some kind of iron on, but as far as I now printing white is not possible.

I try to snap a couple this week.

just pre-ordered the white one....didn't want to be caught sleeping...23 will eventually come bbut if I miss out on that one....i will gladly fall on this one....either way...i will have a jordan figure in my collection...:)

Friggin' heck! Who told all the other collectors this was something to be had. Need to flood the market so we can get one at a decent price. So next exclusive should be 3000 black 45's with tracky before we go 23?

Got milk? Not just Allstars & Olympics, Wizards, SpaceJam &...

Imagine the guy that has to hand paint all these... gunna be so tired by the end of the day.

I should really wait for the Figma or Play Arts Kai one if this is going to happen to each release, but hmm this is like 3PO. Or a few snow troopers, or a whole lotta grunts... actually Tracky Jordan would go well with Tracky Bleak and Tracky JC.

Um so he has a goatee in this one?
"Each head sculpts are individually hand-painted with newly developed "multi layer" paint application."

I'll get all those! I already have the away #45 Jordan and Kobe all displayed with all my Jordan kicks :wink1:

home #45 Jordan has been pre-ordered and LeBron should be is on it's way soon as it releases as I had pre-ordered a while back... :hi5:

as a sneakerhead and huge Jordan fanatic, the price on these aint stoppin me, I don't want to regret not getting these as I KNOW FOR A FACT these figure will go up in price and cost too much to get down the road TRUST ME (ie. pair of Concord XIs are now around $400+ DS, DS pairs of Jordan VIs, Jordan Xs, Jordan VIII, etc. are all hovering the $500+ mark - thats if you can find one your size)

...matter of fact, im thinking of doubling up on the Jordan figures just like I double up on Jordan shoes... "one to stock, one to rock" :lol

Don't like Kobe and Lebron is alright, but he's no Jordan :D
I also want to get all of these, but I do hope the prices for the #23's will be a bit lower :(

Also have a bunch of J's. Don't stock 'em, just rock 'em: they're shoes and Jordan will keep rereleasing them every few years. Plus, I got like 10 pairs now which will easily get me through the next 5-10 years (office work). So no use keeping a stash of them as DS cause in 5-10 years time there'll be a bunch of new CW's anyway :D
Do have 1 pair of DS Concords though :panic:
