You know what's crazy? Even though I'm closing in on 7k photos on the phone (most of which are in the Camera Roll) I really don't have a problem finding specific ones... even ones from 3-4 years ago. That's a testament to both the design of the Camera Roll and the speed/capacity of the current processors in the phones. (This obviously would have killed the gen 1 iPhone or even the 3G :lol)

Yeah, I actually have more apps on my iPhone than my iPad (which I mostly use for the web, email, watching movies, etc). And of course all the photos (the camera on the iPad still kinda sucks so I've taken maybe 3 pics with it). I do have more movies on my iPad, though.

No camera on my iPad (first one), so I'm way behind on that technology. Although I'm hoping the retina affordably goes to the MacBook Air at some point since I may lean towards one of those.

Well, you do win on Songs. I need to fix that. :lol

:hi5:

This is true. :lol I like that with the 64 I can put more on it. I have some that I'd be tempted to put on this but I save that room for new soundtracks as they come out.

Agreed! I have no problem finding any of the photos. You can scan quickly to what you need. I love it.

I know. I'm a poster boy for using an iPhone as a one-stop handheld portable media center. :lol

Ditto :rock

Talking about songs on he iPhone. This is what I've got on mine. I think I might have missed a couple albums like the first HP movie album but you get the idea.

Serious question, not trying to be snarky or anything:

Those of you that have or have ordered the 64GB version, do you really need that much memory?

I was going to order the 64GB, but I really don't think I need that much memory.

From a price point, I understand that for only $200 more, you can four times the memory of the 16GB, and it's a better value, but having recently bought a house that I'm still furnishing, I can justify an extra $200 on an iPhone.

I can understand the need extra memory; my GF has the 16GB 4 and there is barely any memory left, but that's because her iPhone is full of videos and pictures she took that she hasn't got around to transferring to other storage media. We have the original iPad and the "New iPad" (iPad 3); both are the 64 GB versions and both have are at the most "half full".

I ordered the 32 GB version, which I think is more than enough, but I'm wondering if I should go ahead and make the leap to 64GB.

I have a 32 now and have to constantly delete stuff to be able to add more. :monkey4

I'm the same way. I have a 32 gig ipad with really nothing on it. :lol

I have a lot of the same albums and pics on my iPad. During sdcc I ran out of room because of the video I hadn't taken off to make my coverage reviews. :lol

Why would I need the 64?
I dont listen to much music and movie are just too small

So would I still be ok with the 16 for the IPhone 5?

I guess I'm just never in a place to listen to music on my phone or watch movies or anything. I think the most I've ever had on any phone was what I'm using currently. It's got 16 internal and a 32sd card and I've used 7gb. I take my pictures and my videos and they go straight to my computer. The only apps I ever download are the ones I know I'll use.

Damn, Josh, that's a LOT of soundtracks. :rock

Yeah, I love soundtracks. I much prefer to listen to those over songs with words. I can mentally play a movie in my head while listening to them. :rock I have more like I said I can't put on without almost maxing out my phone. I will now be able to without worry.
