The only way I would see this movie is if they made it a quasi-sequel. What I'd want to see is new kids going up to that same cabin and finding the book and the recorder. The teens unleash the demons get possessed, yadda yadda. Then at the the end cameo Bruce as Ash makes his way back to the cabin after chasing that damn book all these years. He arrives just in time for a vortex to open and get sucked in screaming "Not again!"
Don't think it would happen but who knows this is Sam here so its possible.

this would actually work and be really cool, even if the movie sucks, making it like a sequel would make it less stinky

Raimi.... i dont know... spiderman 3 might have been the studio's fault, but he did directed.. he is partly responsible,
drag me to hell was cool but, not great... and he's not even directing this...

meh, it was okay, there were some parts that felt out of place, to me like i said it was good but not great, not what i expected

It was so good. Totally hearkens back to the Old School Raimi.

I dug drag me to hell. They were parts where you laughed, jumped and laughed again. I could see the end coming from a mile away, but aside from that I think that is the closest thing we'll see to another Raimi evil dead movie. I would definitely watch it again.

have not seen it but judging by the trailer its a rehash of every action movie ever made complete with rapidly degenerating action stars so in a way its a remake just more predictable and more cgi and airbrushing then its origionals .........but hey people buy tickets which in turn keeps the likes of sly arnie in botox so it aint all bad

Someone mentioned it somewhere , I think Johnny Knoxville would make a good replacement for Ash.

Saw the movie "Husk" this past October and thought CJ Thomason could pull off Ash quite well. He does a good job looking freaked out yet still keeps that "hero" title.

Saw the movie "Husk" this past October and thought CJ Thomason could pull off Ash quite well. He does a good job looking freaked out yet still keeps that "hero" title.

Of course no one will ever fill the role of Ash better than Bruce, but I think he would be good.
