Express Update - Grey Hulk PF!

Fair/unfair, who really gives a shat?

I still havent gotten this express update, and if I had missed the last one you wouldnt have heard me complain about it.

It was pure luck that I got the last one when I did, just as it would have been pure luck if I had won a contest, no difference.

And dont tell me what I'm 'skewed' towards, newb.

You obviously give a "shat" since you are posting your views on this thread. :)

We'll never know since you did win. It's ironic since you're complaining about people trying to invoke change into the system, which also means you give a "shat". Multiple conflicts in your arguments there. It's not pure luck, it's how fast the email traveled to you.

Calm down, and please don't stoop to that level and resort to name calling, it exposes ur soft parts. :) :) :) lmao.

Just for the record, I wasn't complaining. Already had a gray hulk and have a green hulk.

Just a comment/suggestion, if these random updates are going to be a regular thing, might as well get some press and excitement over it in an extended period of time in form of a contest.


Edit: now that I think about it, a free contest would be a horrible idea, because I could see someone who's never bought a SS priduct before winning. Make it a lottery system, $1 a ticket, sell max of 350 tickets, 1 ticket per person, and draw a winner. Everyone = happy. But now we're getting complicated. Nevermind, forget I brought it up. :monkey3

I hear you Mesa. Didn't want any of the express updates myself, but in future who knows. Some people just get pissy about anything challenging an uneven system.

From another board:

"I was told by somebody at SS customer service that they send e-mails out in batches of a hundred or so. If they tried to send them all out at once, they would crash their system, or they would all go into our spam folders."



Wonder if that's true.

I must've been part of the last batch since I don't get mine till the next day or a few hours after everyone start getting theirs lol
 
Yea I heard about the express update on here before I even received an email. That's pretty funny I think. I really dont care though. I shall have one of these hulks one day even if I have to pay an arm an a leg for it on the bay. Congrats to whoever got this!
 
What I don't understand is why don't they create a different sculpt or use a different pose for the Grey Hulk? I know it is a money saver, however It is boring having two exact sculpts painted differently that are in a pose.
 
The Express Updates originally came on Tuesdays, but for the last few weeks that have been coming on Wednesday, so I think the official day has changed to Wednesday. They are available on your Newsletter account page for everyone at the exact same time when they are released, so you don't have to wait for the emails. There isn't an exact time, just like there isn't an exact time for the Newsletters, so if you want to have a chance at something on the Express Update, you'll need to keep an eye on your Newsletter page (just as Tom suggested) and hope you see it first. It is about as fair a system as someone could come up with. So if you're just waiting on the email to arrive and not checking the Newsletter page, you will almost always miss out and have no one to blame but yourself.
 
I have to say that its pretty funny that until last week nobody ever mentioned the express updates but they toss 1 hulk in the last two and now everyone is up in arms and upset that they never get the emails. I guess the new stategy is working for Sideshow.
