"Fall of the Empire" Ewoks vs. Stormtrooper Diorama

I was 5 when ROTJ came out so Ewoks were likely targeted to my agre group. And it worked, as a kid they were among my favorites; even wore one of those flame retardant wicket costumes for Halloween

I imagine there will be kids who saw the Phantom menace that will be surprised anyone could hate Jar Jar

(and for the record I do hate Jar Jar )

Was this the one that came in a box with a cheap flimsy mask?, i had the Vader version and have pics i should dig up some time.

I liked the Ewoks back when my parents were buying me ROTJ figures, Wicket was a neat figure and a great sculpt. I like the original Ewok song ending way better then that boring Moroccan drum elevator music crap they threw in for the SE's.

Totally true GB. Ewoks where done for kids back in the day as much as Jar Jar was done for kids now. I know lots of kids I taught that liked Jar Jar and couldn't get why I wasn't a big fan. Thats why I personally opt for respecting what fans like from SW unlike a decent portion of SW fans.

Yeah, I'm kind of in the same boat. Things like Darth Talon bug me, but diversity is one of the best parts of SW, even if that means there are dumbass (to me) parts

Should have been Wookiees as originally intended. But Lucas went for "cute" and marketable, which was further solidified after the success of E.T.

First Chewbacca didn't get a medal in the first one and then Lucas cut his kind from ROTJ....why does Lucas hates Wookies? Dang Wookie hater.

Darth Talon looks cool. Though, I admit I've not read up much on her. Things like killing Chewie in the EU kind of annoy me but yeah its the diversity that makes SW so cool. At least from my POV.
