Physical traits should have nothing to do with portraying a character. Thats why Al Pacino should have been cast as Harry Potter and Meryl Streep should have been William Wallace in Braveheart.

Pacino did play Scarface and Carlito though, last I checked he isn't actually Latino.

Only explanation I can give is that people were so amazed/awestruck that they were speechless. By the time their bodies came back down from the ecstasy and adrenalin high, another trailer had started, so it would have been awkward for them to stand up and cheer at that point.

Earlier (and completely unbiased) reports had indicated that people were visibly moved by the awesomeness of the trailer. Apparently I didn't get that crowd (or possibly their D-Box seats were malfunctioning.)
