Maybe the SW people will reconsider their decision when they see how badly FF bombs!

stand alone or not, it's still gonna be part of the new official cannon and story line. i look forward to his film about jar jar being a time traveler who invents the sith order.

Teasing aside, DOFp was good, but by no means best of the year.

I thought it was easily the best superhero movie of the year. Guardians was fun, and TWS had probably the best action in a superhero film to date, but as a total package DOFP blew both of them out the water.

Naw to be honest I left DOFP disappointed.

Critically, Edge of Tomorrow was better, people forget that that is based off of a graphic novel.

DOFP is my favorite X men film so far, but I agree, All You Need is Kill was awesome...and better!(screw that edge of tommorow name )

Yeah, it was close. EOT has 90% on RT and DOFP has a 92%.

To be honest most of my expectation wasn't based on the looks and info we got prior to its release, remember the Empire magazine reveals?

Costumes and designs looked pretty bad for most of the characters, the Sentinels looked nothing like they did in the comics, Quicksilver looked just as bad as that leaked Doom image, if not more, mostly everyone hated the first trailer, Wolverine was plastered in front of every poster, etc...

I'm going into FF knowing it's going to be a huge departure from the comics but with most of the talent involved they could produce a cool new take on the team.

Don't get me wrong. it's POSSIBLE, however unlikely, they might make an amazing story, with characters we care about. And it Might be good.

And Michael Bay might win Best picture at the Oscars for transformers 4. Both of these things are just as likely.


at the very least, it'll likely be better than the Abysmal Spider-man films.
