haha didnt mean for it to sound harsh, ya im liking this place. except for constantly seeing the Doom ex. and wanting it more and more.

i think the faux bronze pieces are beautiful but i hope bowen does not start going completely overboard with them.

you'll want to put me on ignore right away. :D

Oh I've known your name for a long time now, I got to your doom picts through a google search and now here I am. Good to know we have some cali people here, SDCC booth was sick can only wait for next year.

That bronze america still looks so badass

Faux Bronze Abom was a little much. I was hoping for Iron Man instead, but I'm sure Randy will get to it in time.

don't understand the draw of these. don't care for'em myself

I don't understand how you don't understand how awesome these are. I mean, look at it. The bronze touch just give it a certain... something. I can't put any words to it. But to me, they look fantastic. i wish I had gotten in on the Cap one. But not willing to spend current going prices. I'll be happy with my Thor, Doom and Daredevil (plus original FB hulk).

But I do agree to some extent, I hope this isn't just another fad and EVERY bowen statue gets te FB treatment. That will just cheapen it the exclusivity of it all.

now see, i'd rather have that Cap^ in color. it does look nice, but still rather have color...or real bronze w/ a nice patina lol

I really don't understand how people don't like these. To me, the faux bronze treatment just adds more class to an already great statue. It's the type of line that makes you want to go out and buy its own display case/curio so noone can get them all printed up and grubby.

I finally shook the whole completist mentality and I'm sticking with primarily wolverine/x-men based stuff, but these are a must.

I don't understand it either? but a lot of times, people hate what they can't or don't have. :pow

I admit, im not a fan of the typical faux bronze look. But these are in a league of their own. It has just enough color to give it personality instead of being bland bronze....and it has the class of a bronzed look piece.

When I saw him in person, i was thinking the same thing. They should have left the flesh skin tones alone, because he looks metallic, as if it's a diecast piece.

I don't think it'll take too terribly long for these to find permanent homes. Granted, it's pretty early with these, but the Hulks seem to have dried up pretty fast and me thinks the others will follow suit. Heck, if it's this hard to find a Gambit with as high of an edition size that it has, I can only imagine what these could do.
