We're not going to get individual films before the JLA film. Man of Steel and maybe a Batman and/or Wonder Woman film, but that's it. Everything else will be spun off from JLA, including a GL sequel should Reynolds be a part of it.

I really hope Reynolds comes back. Thought he was pretty good as Hal.

I would be amazed it WB make a Wonder Woman movie before the new Batman. They are void of ideas and balls outside Batman and Superman.

Agreed. But there has been recent movement on WW... much moreso than the Batman reboot. Of course, than can and likely will change anytime though.

I guess we will see Man of Steel 1 & 2 and then Batman 1. Then Superman 3 and Batman 2. Etc JLA if made will consist of Batman, Superman, Alfred, Lois Lane and maybe Robin.

If WB begins the JLA franchise with Superman, I figure a movie should be out around 2016, or 17. The Avengers would be going into their third film and hopefully DC would of gotten all their ducks in the row then to unleash the perfect JLA movie. I just hope they stay more or less true to the characters.

I would call that window dressing.

She has a writer since the 40's. :D and had a Director in Joss Whedon. But of course WB/DC through a wobbler.

Considering that the Joss Whedon film ended due to "Creative Differences" and Marc Guggenheim isn't going to leave the script due to studio input, yeah, it's being worked on.

You'll see Man of Steel, Wonder Woman, The Batman Reboot and then the JLA film.

The only reason I see this plan failing is if any one of these films is terrible. That will kill the momentum. Otherwise this is WB's main priority because these are the only built in fan base movies they have left Besides the Hobbit.

Man of Steel is basically in the can and was actually due to be released this year but they pushed it back until next year. With the Hobbit being spread over three films WB have plenty of big budget money makers for the foreseeable future. That should get up to the Batman reboot. I have absolutely no faith in them to produce a WW movie in the near future (4-5 years). There was actually talk of a Lobo movie next with The Rock in the lead. LOL.

Sorry, you'll see Wonder Woman before Lobo. Think what you want.

Mate I would love to see Wonder Woman. After Spider-man and Daredevil she is my favourite character. I just have no faith in WB and DC. Just look at the disastrous WW TV pilot.

They've been trying to get Wonder Woman off the ground for years and the problem is they're trying to please everyone. This time around giving the script to Guggenheim, and thankfully no Greg Berlanti to be found in 500 sq mile radius. We can actually get a Wonder woman story written by a guy who's already had time with the character.

That's the studio's thinking, they're also bent on getting it done because they know it will work better if they build at least three characters going towards JLA and third they also know with Wonder Woman they get a female audience.

And in no way am I saying this is going to be "amazing", I'm just saying this is how it's working out. You may not have faith in it, but the studio realizes this is how it needs to happen if they're going to compete for Marvel Dollars now that Nolan is off Batman.

Sorry Nam but Avatar was a very average film and it got mind boggling box office

What do you put that down to? :lol

Not a summer blockbuster nor a superhero movie. Besides, how many re-releases has Avatar and Titanic had? I'd put money on an Avengers re-release with the added Cap footage moving straight to #1. Would you wager against that?

And again, you continually ignore the fact that Alex Logan stated TDKR would beat Avengers at the box office. :wink1:

It's original theatrical release broke $2bn worldwide if I'm not mistaken

Not being a superhero flick has nothing to do with the argument that more box office = better film, which as I understand is the argument you are trying to make for Avengers being better than TDKR

You think that Avengers will go over 2.7 billion world wide with the rerelease? That's a difference of 1.3 billion dollars....I highly doubt it.

Keep in mind, Avengers still has yet to open in Japan, so it's not done with it's initial release. That'll only increase the margin between TDK and Avengers.

Oh yeah any rerelease is going increase it between TDKR and Avengers but I just don't see Avengers catching Avatar. Even in Japan, which by the way has a very low box office potential,Avatar only received 186mil even over it's releases, I think Avengers stays in Third place, although I do plan on seeing it again with the new footage...can never have too much comic book movie goodness.
