This is a plea to other 31 countries takin part in the World Cup....please can you adopt me so I can cheer you on with hope of possibly winning this years ultimate grail of the footballing world. I have officially retired from supporting Italy...I refuse to support them any longer after last nights amazing 1-1 performance against Luxembourg!!! WTF!!! Italy World Ranking: 9 Luxembourg World Ranking: 118

I mean, we were full strength here and playing at home so what's the excuse??? Didn't want to play good incase we get injured? Didn't feel like playing because you were thinking about your flight in the morning to Brazil and how you can wait to see the nice sexy girls on the beach? C'mon!!:gah: This is a ****ing joke!!! Its like the equivalent of Brazil playing against Sideshow Collectibles for crying out loud!!! This has got to be the worse I've ever seen Italy play in a long long time and I'll tell you all now that they will totally get eliminated in the group stages!!

Of course, I still hope they can get a result against England on June 14th :yess: :yess: :lol

Australia will take you Roblerto :wink1: I get the feeling you'll kindly ask us to move along though :( :lol

Sorry man but I just can't take friendly results seriously they mean nothing IMO, after the first two group games you'll know what your team is about.

As for golden boot I'll stick with my first effort of Fred or Neymar. I think this is Brazil's cup to lose. Not long now I can hardly wait for the games to begin :yess:

Yeh, friendlies mean nothing.

Thank you guys :1-1: you have restored faith in my team again...now I believe Italy will win the 2014 World Cup :yess: Forza Azzurrri :lol

Golden Boot will be Super Mario Balotelli :rock

I still hope they lose to a penalty awarded to an opponent's dodgy dive in their own penalty box :lol

I don't think so. They certainly have the team to achieve such a feat, though.

:gah: :lol

If Spain were to win that'd be 4 big tournaments in a row wouldn't it? That ever be done before?

no, never been done before and also if Spain win they will be second ever team to successfully defend their title by winning the World Cup twice in succession. Only Brazil have ever done this if I'm not mistaken :)

You and your swinging emotions :lol I knew the offer of being an Australian fan would bring you back on board with your motherland :wink1:

If Mario can control his emotions (coincidence I think not :lol) he could easily get golden boot but I wouldn't bet any money on it :lol

I fear for Australia my friend...no doubt they are in the one of the toughest groups with Spain, Holland and Chile :( still, you have my support and I always love a good underdog so I will cheer them on every game....especially against Spain :yess:

:lol yea, was only joking regarding Balotelli being top scorer. Italy's goal per game ratio isn't exactly very high in tournaments so I don't think the top goal scorer will come from their team. Newmarket is a good bet for me along with Argentina's Sergio Aguero...

:hi5: :yess: Thank you for the support! I'm actually really looking forward to see our boys play these humongous teams man, it will be a great experience for them I'm not worried at all about the results and you never know when you could get a sneaky win.

Nice picks for G boot there I think Argentina have a good chance to score lots of goals looking at their group. With Mario though he such an enigma. The times I have watched AC this year he has been a game changer and honest to goodness superstar. Sometimes I wonder if people didn't ride him all the time whether he'd be a differnt player. I'd love to see if Arsene could tame him :whip

Can't wait for the greatest show on the planet to begin.:clap

Can't wait for Sideshow to finally get their finger out and ship my Superman PF!!!....oooops :slap wrong thread :lol

Me too bro....each time the World Cup comes along it gives me goosebumps :yess:

Disappointing result for England last night...thought they could've at least scored a goal against Honduras's 10 men :dunno Italy have finally arrived in Brazil and play their final friendly tonight against Brazilian club side Fluminense....so hoping for a better display compared to last weeks disaster against Luxembourg :(
