Les,

I thought with all that's going on, you might need a laugh. This is from Batman #66 (August/September 1951). The story is "The Joker's Comedy of Errors!"

I'm glad to hear that your Mom is better, and now back in her new home again. I hope things continue to go well.

The "Joker's Boners?!" That was funny! :rotfl

:rotfl:lol:rotfl:lol:rotfl

Thanks so much for the laughs guys. I so need them right now.

To be brief, this has been the worst week of what has been the worst few months for me, ever. To go through all this, still trying to work, and run behind, and feel like crap about that, all the while, watching my Mom deteriorate and then almost get killed by the kind folks at the second home in two months that you put her in, due to some dangerously high levels of blood thinner dosages, and bleeding kidney, the works...this has been one rough time for me.
Add in my Dad's near run-in...he has an aortic anuerism problem too. One good punch in the gut by that parking lot loser, and that might have been his too soon ticket to The All-Time Biggest Thrill Ride Ever.

So....anyway....

I appreciate all the kind words and continued support, both businesswise as well as personal, so know I am very, very grateful and honored by you folks.

I am back at the bench. Albeit a bit tired emotionally, and with a rather upset stomach (well, something had to get cranky...and don't get me started with my wild dreams of the last few weeks...ever dreamed of giant jellyfish floating in the sky trying to reach their tenticles down into your house, you fighting them back, as they are trying to slither in through the windowsills???...man...wild sleep nights I've had!!!....), anyway, other than that, and the anger, suppressed and otherwise, and seeing such a DARK KNIGHT reflected back at me in movies, it's been wild.

But, what is the line, whatever doesn't kill us, makes us stranger? Well, in this case, I hope not. :lol

I am back on the work again. Please again, make note of my continuing updates for seeing your works. I will be posting Update number two, a biggie, in the next couple of days, by the weekend for sure. It will include a lot of the loose heads, and some of the Hickses and more. Remember, if you don't see it, it ain't finished yet!
But soon will be.

I am so aching to get to Jokers, that I am using that as motivation to crack down and get caught up. No rushes of course, I don't do that (sadly :D ). But, I will be done with all this older work soon.

Again, thanks. I know I say this almost every post, but you guys all deserve it in my book. :rock

COOL STUFF COMING!

Les,
Mint helps with an upset stomach. I've had stomach problems most of my life and learned little tricks like that. Most medicines don't work for me.

It can be mint tea, mint candy or a candy cane. Really doesn't matter. I keep some candy canes at home and in the car just in case. If I have to travel, I make sure some is with me.

i'm so sorry about all the stuff you and your family are going through Les. What the heck?!? how can someone so nice have to go through so much hardship?

you and your family are in my thoughts all the time.

I know how to brighten your Spirits Les...

Wow Les! 2008 has been one rough year for you and your family! I thought my year was bad. I really pray that things get better for you before they get worse. It is difficult with older parents with failing health. Your parents are older than mine, and I've only dealt with a little of that stuff like that with my Dad's health.

You always have me in your corner my friend! :D

Don't forget to take care of yourself too during all this Les. It's really easy to do so in the face of all this sickness around you, but to keep going you have to.

Damn dude, I can't imagine how you must feel after running this continuous gauntlet of pain for the past few months. It's hard enough just dealing with piles of paint work that needs to be done and the regular stresses of life, but to have this outside force bearing down on you... it's horrible.

I am glad to hear that your Mom is back in her place and doing a bit better, she also deserves some stability. Anyway man, keep your head up and I hope to talk to you soon. :duff

Been a great, if seriously thunderstorm ridden, day here. I have been painting my butt off, stopping only to eat and post here some.
Making lots of headway....head...way....sorry, bad one.
Anyway, lots of new fresh paint on lots of old angry at me for taking so long heads. Hope to have HUGE update soon. MANY in progress. Lots of loose ones. Getting there!
Molding, Casting, Puttying, Painting, lots in progress today. Most ever in ages!
FEELS GREAT! :rock

NO INTERRUPTIONS ALL DAY! Not used to that.

Hang tight!

Soon.

Out!

Well, except for the thunderstorms. I unplug my computer each time they hit, so it's on again, off again, all day today! and my refs go with it. I need to print out all my refs!

I'm looking forward to your HUGE update soon Les. I'm glad you are able to work uninterrupted now. It must feel weird, but great at the same time huh? :D

Lil Ledger arrived today! I am absolutley blown away. It looks just like Heath's Joker now and right out of the mob boss scene! You nailed it, you absolutley nailed it. And the details! At this scale! The little extra lipstick dot on his left cheek! That alone is such an attention to detail. It is so amazing! In your pics he look awesome, but those pics honestly didn't give this justice. I just can't describe how much better you just made that figure. I still have an extra un-repainted one of these lying around and it looks laughable compaired to yours and Josh's. Now thanks to you two I have the two best Jokers in his too destinctive looks.

Thanks a million Les! I completley love it and can't wait to see your progress on all of those 1:6 Joker heads. But until then, keep up the great work on all of those Hicks, Supermen, and whatever else!

Thanks again. You and your folks are always in my prayers. You guys take care.

I'll try to take some pics tonight of both yours and Josh's Lil' Ledger repaints. They are both :drool worthy.
