Like always Les, you and your family are in my prayers.

Glad to see your back on the board too. sorry fo the sress full year, I know the feeling.....

Good to see that you are ok, bro. I was worried when I didn't hear back from you this weekend. Sucks to hear about your Mom, I know how hard that has been on you, and for things to be getting worse... well, it is not what you needed right now. Especially with your rising health concerns.

Just know that T and I are keeping you in our thoughts and I hope to talk to you again soon bro... But for now, just keep yourself above water and take it a day at a time. :duff

Les, you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers. Hopefully everything will settle a bit for you to breathe for yourself and relax. Remember, we're all here for you if/when you need us.

Les, please take care of yourself mentally and physically too.
The last thing you need is to be overly worried about resin heads. NOTHING is as important as personal well being !!
Everything else succeeds or fails from that starting point.

I would hope that there is no one here that would feel any differently about your well being:sick.

Please let people know how you are when you can , there seem to be a lot of good people here that care about others and not just whats on their shelves !

Take care Les. Hell, I don't even know where I'll be to send the head to. My wife and I are on the rocks and going to separate for a few months.

Went and saw Ma yesterday for about three hours. Got a lot done. They hadn't put her back on her oxygen, and she was a bit incoherent, so I had them get doctor's orders and get her back on the Oxygen.
I told her a lot of you had forwarded their wishes, and she seemed to appreciate it.

I went to the doctor today myself, and had the first physical I have had since 1996, and am now on blood pressure meds, for a time anyway, so maybe that will help some. He was pretty much happy with me, but who knows what the blood tests will show. Might be taking more fish oil soon.

Took a long walk today and feel a lot better. Day by day...

Heads are back in slow progress. Hope to have some pics by the end of the weekend. Thanks again all.

fish oil. yeah I take a decent amount of that stuff. My wife is big on the whole natural food and healthy stuff. There's a lot of good that fish oil does just make sure you're taking some vitamin e with it because fish oil apparently bonds with it and vitamin e is important (they even think that vitamin e deficiencies might have a link to Alzheimer’s) so you don't want the fish oil taking it all out of your system.

It’s amazing how much reading, studying and learning you can end up doing once you are sick. I almost died two years ago and got diagnosed with Crohns. I was always very healthy and active so I just thought it was food poisoning or something and didn’t go in until I was on the verge of death (they told me if I had been so young they would have taken out my intestines)

Hi Les. I'm glad to hear that your physical went well. At least as much as you know right now before your blood tests come back. Does your family have a history of diabetes. Mine did, and I got it...adult-onset type 2 about 8 years ago now. Those blood pressure meds will help your BP come down. I'm on some for my high BP too. I just started taking fish oil pills. I hear they they're high in omega-3...is it proteins? But I didn't know that they bonded with vitamin E. So, I'll have to take vitamin E too, if I keep taking fish oil. I just heard that fish oil pills are good for joints in your body.

I look forward to seeing your newest update Les! Take care my friend!

I just got off the phone with Les, here's an update.

Firstly, Les is having computer problems and as a result, his access to email and the boards is cut off from the moment. Hey may find ways to jump on a bit while he's getting the problem resolved, but just understand his absence and be patient if you're waiting for answers to PMs or emails.

Secondly, Les' ma isn't doing so hot over the past few days, he wanted you guy to be updated on that, so that'll be diverting his attention as new developments, but he appreciates your continued thoughts and prayers and support through it all.

On the positive side, his new meds are starting to kick in for him and it's allowing his body to be relieved from the stresses he's going through, things still weigh on his mind of course, but he's coping better with that physically and feeling better in that regard. So while the situation with his ma isn't so good, he's doing better coping with it.

Thanks for the update Sean. I really hate to hear things still aren't going well for Les. He is having way more than his fair share of troubles. :(

It does suck, no one should have to go through so much, but even worse is what his ma's going through, poor thing shouldn't have to suffer, no one should have to go through prolonged suffering like that.

I know you guys encourage Les not to worry about your heads and stuff, but the work really is therapeutic for him, I'd be worried where he'd be at if he didn't have the escapism it offers him from things.

Thanks for doing that, Sean. I too talked to Les today and he is really going through a rough spot. He hopes to be able to get his computer fixed quickly, and is confident in the new heads he is painting...

But his Ma is in bad shape for sure, so keep him and his in your thoughts guys... :duff

Hi guys. Sorry to be so slow getting in lately. I am at my local public library, so I can't post pics yet, but I am coming along on some work, so as soon as I find a way to post pics again you will see some stuff.

Two things, my computer is down for the moment. It is REALLY SLOOOOOW...I think a virus? Maybe. But anyway, if I can't get it to clean out, I will either dump what I have, reload and start over, or have to get a new computer altogether. It's not even a year old Dell. Dammit....

Second and most important one, looks like my Mom has had another stroke. We aren't sure yet. Not all tests are in, but she is in the hospital in Jesup, Georgia, and she is not doing well. My dad and I were on our way yesterday to see her at the new nursing home when we got a call from them that they had sent her to the hospital because she was non-responsive.
Yesterday was a long day. We got there, and she was still in the emergency room, and knew who we were and all, but she couldn't finish sentences, and was in pain. They gave her morphine for pain and she was out.
I returned today and sat with her until my sister got there from Atlanta. She will be staying with Ma for overnight or so. I am back home, here at the library, catching up on three days of emails.

I will try to keep you guys posted as best I can. I will say this, I am worried. She does not look good. I hope she can rally but she has been through so much this year.

Thanks Sean and Josh for posting in and thanks for the calls.

Despite all this, I have painted some, and will still. I am not out of the game, just obviously not able to do much at present.

If anyone has some advise about how to dump all my computer files and how to start over, now would be a great time. I will be checking in as I can.

Oh, did get a notice about some new figures, and hope to see the new ALIEN Kane soon. My Hot Toys DK will be late October according to ABC.

Again, news as I have it.
Thanks all.

Les

PS: I never want to repeat 2008 again. This year has sucked big ones! Hope you guys are doing ok. Shout out to Ironman1188 and his family. Best of luck buddy.

Be back as soon as I can. With pics when possible!
