Kinda sorta regret these:

-Hot Toys Aliens Warrior
-Hot Toys Dog Alien
-Hot Toys AvP:R Predators and Alien
-Hot Toys Iron Man Mark III (colours fading already)
-a 2nd Hot Toys Batman version 1 TDK suit...although I suppose I do have a use for it.

-McFarlane Austin Powers line
-McFarlane Movie Maniacs - all the ones from films I have zero interest in and only bought for completists sake
-Moore Action collectibles Buffy the Vampire Slayer figures
-N2 TOys Matrix figures!
-Hasbro Star Wars prequels toys, could have avoided a whole lot of temptation ever since - and all despite me really hating those films

I actually quite liked them. They haven't aged well and price if anything has gone down not up but that just means I can still pick up the figures I'm missing of ebay. I still don't think any good Matrix figures have been made. McFarlane never did any Matrix 1 figures.:(

I dont have any that I've regretted buying. yet. I have to pick which ones I want carefully since I cant afford everything I would like. If I could afford them all, then there will probably have been quite a few.

I don't have a lot I regret buying, but I do regret paying full price for ED to go with shaun since he was on the GC list for so long, and he's half price now. Aw well, loved the movie and had to have the pair. They are still a lot of fun to pose with my zombies.

so far i haven't regretted any purchase i've made, simpy cos i buy only what i genuinely like. it's more like regretting what i DIDN'T buy when i had the chance...

When the Godfather came out, I regretted buying the HT Marlon Brando Wild One version. So I sold it.

HT Power Loader. Was never that interested in it, but thought it would look good next to the Alien Queen, when she finally came out. What a waste since that will never happen.

i guess if we're on the subject of collectibles... those old Marvel cards :) and NBA cards :D

for toys.. the whole series 1 world of springfield simpsons set by playmates.

My friend bought the SS Laura Croft. The head way off from the prototype pic. He was pissed. I feel bad for talking him into getting it.

Up until the Joe line, I could count on one hand my number of good experiences re: Sideshow's head paint jobs. The Joes don't exactly blow you away like Hot Toys, but they do a very good job. I hope this is the case with other lines (I really hope they step things up for TOD Indy), but I haven't seen any other Sideshow figures over the last couple years.

The one eye pointing in the wrong direction is unacceptable, IMO.

Funny, I'm not into Tomb Raider games (or the movies for that matter) and I bought her, and actually do not regret it. Yeah, the proto paint job was better, but it's still a nice looking figure (squirrely eye notwithstanding) loaded with accessories. THAT one I bought for looks and it actually worked out!

I forgot that I had also bought most of the first wave of Power of the Force figures when they came out in 1995. I thought they were crappy then and they're even more reprehensible now especially compared to the figures Hasbro is currently making. Nowadays you can't even give them away.

Sideshow Snake Eyes for me.

Was JACKED to get that figure and I had a few doubts here and there from the pics ahead of time but I think I wanted a nice 12" SE's so much that I figured it was all proto stuff.

Got the figure, tried to love it, packaged it back up and dropped it on Ebay to a guy in Amsterdam about 6 days after receiving it.

I still go back and look at the pics on here or on Sideshow's site but I just can't bring myself to like this figure. I have high hopes that they can get the next one correct. I would like them to do something bold like a Resolute SE's but I believe we'll get the Commando version (which if they fix I will buy) or the two knives on the chest version.

HAHA YES! I had a TON of those old Marvel cards from when I collected comics. Sold all of those, my X-men cards and Garbage Pail Kids cards on Ebay about 2 years ago.

WHAT A PAIN IN THE A$$ THAT WAS TO LIST!

Thanks for the horrible memory! :lol

I think collectors of the 90's all collected the same crap. NBA cards, Marvel cards, Comics, McFarlane figures, and ugly SW Hasbro figures.
