Everyone from the first batch has paid so it's time for me to get to work.

knowing how long these take to make, i would have been happy to wait however long it took for these. having you fit bits and pieces of work in in your free time. it's a sensational piece of art that i would have been proud to wait for.

but lo and behold, some pissy impatient people have ^^^^ed things up for the rest of us as usual.

:rotfl:rotfl:rotfl:rotfl

yeah...and I was in the next batch too:monkey2:monkey2:monkey2

Hey, what about providing build instructions to the folks who want them and are on the list. You can charge for the instructions and that will help you make some ambitious customizers happy and provide you some needed funds for school :huh...just a thought.

A shame, they really look freakin nuts man, SUCH a great job you've done, i really wish i had got in early now! Not that i was in late per se', but i really would've liked one. Arghhh why didn't i put my name down to begin with :( lol
Build instructions would be AWESOME. How about even a little fee for them to make some cash also?
EDIT - just read the above post, yeah i agree, nice thought

I do not think you realise what you ask if you ask for building instructions...
to make it easy for everyone, the instructions must be detailed.
And that takes a lot of work for such a piece.

+ if he has instructions, how would you build one if you do not have the parts...don't forget these aren't parts you can find in the form needed to make the signal, you must MAKE every single part yourself. Than you can begin constructing. This is all about the making, for making you can't make instructions for everybody to follow.

That's what customs is all about.

Great pics and I really bite my ass as I was in the first batch and decided to go for the second batch as money was low around that time...:banghead

Nevertheless I can understand your decision and to be honest I was even expecting it. Maybe there is a way to get one of these pieces later as you said you might be doing some more... :naughty

I wouldnt mind waiting for this piece a little longer...

@ First batch guys:

Dont listen to Iforgino. Keep them or give them to me. Im the next on the list. :lol:D *kidding*

maybe he can re-think his decission :monkey2 i would also wait some years for it. it's so beautiful, it would be a pleassure to have this art in my collection... :(

I had a feeling this would happen. I have no idea why people are so damn impatient. You haven't even paid yet and you are impatient. Thanks for driving 1mod6 away and preventing the rest of us from getting a beautiful custom 1/6 piece.

Congrats to those that received one and good luck in your studies 1mod6!

Thanks guys for the kind words and support. I really appreciate it. Also thanks to those who send me supportive pm. I'll reply asap.

To those who asked for tutorial, I think the answer that Riko posted explains in a very simple way why neither me nor Elektro will write a tutorial for this.
Because of my background in mechanical engineering it's pretty straight forward how I tackle a project like this. And same goes for Elektro who's an electric engineer. So to explain it in a way that everyone could understand it, it should be really detailed and long, which both of us don't really have the time for.

hehehehe :)

so thanks to me and your search for perfection, you just delivered the most accurate 1/6th scale batsignal.....

thank you Riko :D no no all Kudos goes to you man, it was already perfect, so it couldn't be any more perfect ;)
Actually, it is the first-batchers that should be thanking you. I should be cursing you because I now have the "inferior" batsignal :). But yhea, thank you for unknowingly FORCING me to make it better.:D

I agree with what you were getting at man ^ Some even basic design measurements, sketches, materials list etc, to at least get the scale and look correct wouldn't go astray, doesnt have to be identical to that, can be lit up etc multiple ways, but it doesnt matter now, would've been cool though

Hey 1/6 mod, sorry to hear the Batsignal project bit the dust. I fully understand, even if I'd have wished for a different outcome. I still have the pix's you posted. Good luck in all your chosen endevers, and your qwest for a job.

Lee in MI: Allow me to extend my pre-emptive apologies if I hurt your or any other customizer with what I’ve posted. I did not mean any disrespect to any of the customizer’s skills or capabilities. I’ve seen quite a few customs that made me go wooow:drool. I’ve also believe that you do not need to be an engineer to make customs; you’ve only need to want it badly and go for it. Nevertheless I do stand behind what I’ve said regarding instructions. For the instructions to be understandable for EVERYONE, they would need to be super detailed.

Well, it was worth a try. You could make some cash for school on the deal and you could also simplify the electronics or not include them at all. There are other options for lighting this thing and it doesn't have to have a remote control. I'm an architect and I know several mechanical and electrical engineers who could guide me through thorough instructions. But its all good. Glad you didn't pull a C.Howes and delivered the first batch as promised:joy Hope things work out for you and maybe when you are finished with your studies, you can come back and wow us with more of your custom work.:D
Do worry my friend, I'm not going anywhere. And yhea, more customs will come. Don't know when, but they will come.

Very cool! Well done!

Thanks Batman79. Glad you like it. I've seen your dio too. I like all attention you put in the weathering. Real nice.

Congratulations on That post dude. Why so rude? Is there a girl overhere we need to impress?

Nevertheless, lets concentrate on the more intelligent part of your post (;)):

Totally agree with you. Hope 1/6mod will stay with us and maybe show us a few other great customs like these signals in future (maybe a light up Ghostbusters Proton Pack or trap)... (I will be in the first batch than :lol)
Yep, I'm staying. lol. There will be more customs, but I don't think any of Ghostbusters:(. The films are cool, but they are not my cup of tea when it comes to 1/6 figures.

Hey 1/6mod... Perhaps this is the only time you have 5 signals on your desk... how about a few pics of the 5 all turned on calling for Batman... Would definitly look cool... :)
Sadly I don't have my own camera. I usually borrow the one from my brother, but I don't do so quite often because it's an expensive piece of equipment. Each batsignal uses 3 batteries to light up and I only have 4 lying around (3 from my batsignal:D). All the batsignals also already wrapped up and soon be be put in their boxes, so no more opportunities for pics. I do have a few more photos I took, but can't post them because it will ruin the surprise for the first bathers that get the non-remote version.

Hey 1/6 mod, sorry to hear the Batsignal project bit the dust. I fully understand, even if I'd have wished for a different outcome. I still have the pix's you posted. Good luck in all your chosen endevers, and your qwest for a job.

Thanks understanding and your support Old Grandpa.

to 1/6 mod
this is the song for you...

......
Ummm , thanks for the song

It appears that not everybody pays close attention to what I posted. I know KingGrayskull got the message. There will be a few more batsignals. Those will go on ebay. So if you want one, you can still have a chance. Of course I will only make a few more of them, but at least there is still hope if you want one. If I'm unable to get a job quickly, I'll be force to build one asap. But if I do get a job it will take a while before one is up for sale.

+100500, Reinhardt, mate!
I was very upset reading second 1mod6's post. T_T
I was ready to wait for the year or even 2 years to get it, but now the project is closed.
It's a big pity for all of us and great loose for our collections.

I was dreaming do display my DK Original Suit Batman with this awesome batlight and bought some Dark Knight to pair the Joker. And now I don't know how to display 2 Batman's on 1 shelf, I shell sell one of them. (((

Hope that all impatient comrades are very glad now. ><
Eh vi, tovarishi, mat' vashu!, rus.

Once again information is being deleted that shouldn't have been deleted from MY post in MY Thread. This is starting to work on my nerves:taz

I want this so bad! Extremely well done!
Thanks again for the kind words Batman79
