I moved some of my collection to another room last night, and was reminded how dated my SSC ANH Luke and Han (even though it is a custom update) are. Thinking about selling them and waiting for the inevitable higher quality/worse likeness HT versions. Is this the right thing to do? Help me Flosi et al., you're my only hope!

I'd keep them as background figures or ones to have in a grouping.

I decided to cram my far inferior ESB Luke into the Hut and I think he looks pretty good there. Didn't cost me anything extra and I didn't have to suffer the insult of selling him for $30 shipped

Well, what have you done to them? I know your Han is customized but what body is it on? And Luke? I mean, you won't even get 100 for the pair, and sure, they're not the thousand dollar rainman figures you like to buy but they are cool.

Luke is stock. I think I could get something substantial for my Han considering the mods (new paint job, neck removed, better Soldier Story body, better boots), but he still isn't HT level. And yeah, I realize I'm not gonna get $1K for them

By the way, I've never spent even close to a grand on an action figure. Well, $750, but that was just one time, and it was the Dude, so it is acceptable behavior.

He does look good, he just doesn't compare to the other high end stuff I've got.

I need to thin out my collection, and this looks like a place I could do some of that. . .but when I get Boba Fett, it would be nice to display him with Solo.
