Awww.

Will somebody please get King a Star Wars sticker to make his water bottle cool?

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

Yeah, it's one of those things that once I found out about it my replica from MR just did not have the same appeal :lol

I scored one for $135 shipped which is pretty cheap... so a bit concerned it might be a fake, but the seller has good feedback and has sold a lot of SW replica items. So fingers crossed.

Once I get it in I'll start sourcing the other stuff to try and build it. If I go with an actual calculator to get the bubble strip I'm estimating the entire thing will cost me about $240, if I get a replica of the bubble strip it will be more like $200.

Great score, GB!

In addition to 1:6 action figures, I also collect old/antique cameras and equipment. But the graflex 3-cell is still not in my collection simply because of the price! Old camera dealers got wise really early on and jacked up the price significantly. Normally for a piece like that, you'd only pay anywhere from $20-$60 tops. But because everyone knows it's a Star Wars prop, you see how much it goes for. $135 is actually a pretty good price for it. My only hope is finding a dealer that doesn't know the SW connection and will sell that, along with the camera and case, for about $80-$100, which is what other large format press cameras usually go for. Heck, I've found full sets of press cameras for about $60!

Yeah, kind of a bummer that SW fans caused the price to get jacked up on them. As I was doing research I peaked in on a camera forum and from reading a few posts learned collectors don't like people asking where to find a Graflex 3 cell :lol

That's a great deal. I still don't have any Gamorrean Guards yet.

While we were at whole foods yesterday they tapped a keg of dogfish 120 minute. I got a sample glass for free. Passed on a growler since its 18%. Did get 2 mini growlers of Weyerbach imperial pumpkin for the week.

And next Saturday is the official release party for dogfish punkin! :yess: Definately going to dip lily's pacifier in some to give her a taste.

And just finished putting together the Jabba Lego set..I'll post pics tomorrow.
