Oh Secret Santa... :wave

Get me my list soon please. I'm heading to Frank & Sons on Wednesday! :D

If there are any Kindle readers in here, Amazon has a 5-pack of the Game of Thrones novels for $9.99. :rock

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

I'm the same way, although I don't buy a huge haul like that at once. I typically buy mine when Target clearances them for under 10 bucks. i recently got a few for 6 bucks, including Resident Evil 6. If that one is multi-player, I'll play it with you! I haven't opened it yet. I have to check...

It is co-op campaign. I bought it so my friend and I could play it as we played RE5 as well. It might be 3 player co-op though!

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

Resident Evil 6 has two-player co-op throughout the entire campaign. There are sequences where the stories intersect and then four can play at once, but it's not all the time. The game is also one of the worst I've played, sadly. And that's coming from a Resident Evil super fan from the beginning of the series to this day.

That sucks. Weird how only certain sequences can have 4 players...

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

Yeah, it's weird. I liked Resident Evil 5 a lot better than RE6. A lot of people complained about that one because it was similar to 4 and didn't have a lot of new groundbreaking gameplay changes, but I liked it. I don't think every new entry in a game necessarily needs to have the gameplay tweaked. All those that wanted to be able to walk and shoot and all that other crap got what they asked for in Resident Evil 6 and it was terrible. I'm hoping they learned their lesson and 7 will be better, but I'm not holding my breath. Nothing can beat the original tank control, fixed camera games for me, though.

A far more enjoyable co-op survival horror gaming experience is Dead Space 3. You can drop in and out of the campaign without any issue. It's only two player, though.

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

Man, I really wanted that Midas Iron Man that's going up tomorrow, but I just don't think I can justify paying $300 for it.

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

I'm working on my secret santa list. I'm tough to buy for, cuz I buy everything for myself (except for expensive stuff). I hope to submit it to JJJ by tomorrow...

Is that the Iron Man who fixes your brakes and gives you an oil change? :wink1:

Thinking about a WiiU, since I'm a less serious gamer and have always leaned toward Nintendo anyway. Maybe a gift from Santa to the two of us. Last night, he even mentioned that he misses having a Nintendo, for as little as we played recently, we always did so when company came calling. And this Thanksgiving, all we played was Mexican Train.

Anyone have the WiiU? Should we get one? ;)

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

I think you should. My friend has it and it's pretty cool. They also just put out the new Mario game where you can get the power up that turns you into a cat, so it has that going for it as well.

They still have some good deals on some Play Arts Kai figures if any of you are into that sort of thing.

We may be getting one. Nintendo are the best systems to play games with my daughter. I finally bought Super Mario Galaxy recently. We've been enjoying that quite a bit.
