re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

Actually lately I have been kind of nostalgic for the period of time when Fellowship opened. It was amazing to be so psyched for a movie and have it not only live up to, but blow my expectations out of the water.

I loved all the movies and The Hobbit AUJ but there's something about that first taste....

It was quite the spectacle at the time. Up until then there was nothing like it. It was beautiful seeing on the big screen for the first time.

:horror:horror:horror That woulda been one helluva collectibles claim! :lecture You better yell at them about that propane tank! That could have been terrible...

Not sure that the spark from the wire would've been enough to ignite it, but yeah it's crazy to think about.

Holy crap! I have my long awaited Ram Man as well as a few that I got from Big Lots but would still love to get a regular He-Man, Skeletor, Battle Cat and Panther. Oh yeah, I need a Tytus too, for obvious reasons. ;)

Which one was Tytus? I forgot? I guess i could look at the checklist. :slap :lol:lol:lol

I like how it separates out the different factions and series. (He-Man, Horde, Snake Men, POP, NA He-Man, etc)

Makes who is gonna party at Castle Grayskull a bit easier. :lol

That's a pretty cool checklist, Chien. I'm missing a few here and there including the castle.

Like I said, if I can help you out with getting some of the ones your need through my subscription next year, just let me know. It'd be my pleasure.

I wish I had a Ram Man. Missed him on the sale day.

Thanks Ben! I already got all the ones I wanted ordered already. I don't mind paying a little more. :cuckoo: :lol:lol:lol

Mostly want to complete any Horde, Snake Men, and POP and of course old school he-man figures and peeps from the old school show.

When I gave my wife the prints to mail this morning she said, very impressed, "you know someone named Titus?!" :lol

Ram Man was my favorite MOTU character as a kid so I'd collected all the ones made up until this new MOTUC line was announced. I was hoping a new one would be made but waited forever until he was announced. I was online the day he dropped only to get shut out in seconds so I had to go to eBay but it's totally worth it. He's awesome. I can't wait to get my Ram Man display put together. I have all the figures along with some original drawings and animation cels. I'd still like to get a vintage one MOC someday but they're pricey.

When I gave my wife the prints to mail this morning she said, very impressed, "you know someone named Titus?!" :lol

Hahaha, yeah I get that a lot when people hear my name. :D

Thank you for making me a print, I can't wait to see it!!! :rock

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

Stinkor was always my favorite as a kid. I used to carry him around everywhere when I was little. That's why I got two of him when he was released in the MOTUC line.

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

Beast Man was my first favorite. Then Moss Man came along, all fuzzy.:love

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

I think mine was Roboto. I loved robots a lot as a kid. I had almost every figure and vehicle and Snake Mountain as a kid! I remember playing with the water spray figure toys in the bath tub too. :lol

Mostly Snout Spout and one of the Snake Men that squirted water.

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

Finally got all the figures I want displayed with Grayskull. Hope it'll be a good display!
I had to find all their little swords and whatnots. :lol

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

Thanks! It was only $30 and it's one of those unique items I think add just a little bit to the collection.

Wow, neat coin! I like coin collectibles cuz they don't take up much space. There's a Yoda coin I keep meaning to buy on Ebay, but haven't done it yet. It's from some foreign country where it is actual legal tender. I should have included it on my Secret Santa list, cuz it is $25 shipped! :slap

That's like everything except for New Adventures of He-Man. :lol

Basically!!! :lol:lol:lol

If the She-Ra show didn't have the Horde and Hordak and all those guys, I wouldn't get it. Never watched the show, but I like Hordak, Grizzlor, Tung Lashor, Modulok, etc. I had all those as a kid.

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

Cool! I really regret selling a trinket I got from the premiere of Fellowship. It was the One Ring (a cheap casting, but heavy) that came in a little satchel with the movie logo. My brother is a doorman in a fancy building and one of the tenants worked for New Line. She knew I was a LOTR fan and gave it to him for me. Also got one of the PS2 LOTR games fro free from her.

I'm ashamed to say I have not seen Smaug yet. Newborn + snowstorm kept us in this weekend. I dare not go into the movie thread but I hope it was awesome!

Wow, that ring sounds very cool.... Soooo, you don't know yet that Bilbo dies in the movie? :wink1:
