re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

:lol

I hope you find it. Anything good?

Not especially. I mainly sell DVD's and Blu-rays, because I stupidly upgrade them to newer/better versions, so I have to get rid of the old ones. This particular item is LEGEND on DVD, the Ultimate Edition.

Last week I bought Doctor Who S1-7 on BD, which is a nice box set that includes a bonus disc and a sonic screwdriver remote control, AND seasons 1-4 on Blu-ray (they've only been released on DVD thus far). But I already owned all 7 seasons. So I am selling the individual seasons I own. I paid only $153 for the S1-7 set (retails for $350). I've already sold S2, S3, S4, and S6, and gave away S7 to someone for Christmas. I can't find my S1. So I still have S5 and the Complete Specials to sell, but only need to clear $31 more (after fees) to recoup the $153 I spent on the box set. Thus, it was a worthy upgrade. I just had to put in the leg-work.

Oh, I also sell Lego's (that I should have never bought). I got rid of most of them so far. Only 3 sets left...

What's up my buddies!!??

Man, Castle Grayskull looks so pretty in the box, I kind of want to keep it sealed forever. Oh wait, that's why I got two! :lol :lol :lol

Now weeding out the figures I don't want to display it with (mostly the NA He-Man ones and random weirdo guys).

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

So we are having some brick work done on our porch, and finally after about 2 months the guys showed up today to start. Everything they did today looks great so far.
However, I was pulling the tarps down around the area to keep the cold air off the mortar, when I noticed something flickering in the dark... looked like a cell phone light or something that would flash for a second and then go out. I got closer to it and tried to grab it but couldn't feel anything, saw it flash again and grabbed at it and felt a slight tingle... then I realized it was an underground wire to an outside outlet that had been clipped and was sparking!! So I had Angie turn off the switch and wrapped the wire up. But I then kept noticing an odd smell that I thought was just the mortar mud stuff, but kept thinking it smelled a bit like gas... so I thought I better check the propane tank they left on the porch... and sure enough, they left the valve open, so I closed it.
Then it hit me... had that gas kept empying into the surrounded tarped off porch, and that wire spark kept going off... holy hell! We could've had one hell of a boom! Good thing I noticed them both when I got home! :panic::thud:

I got home and saw my check from the Postal Service for my damaged turntable. Free turntable! :rock

I'll probably use the money to get a new lid made for it. :D

I lost my mailbox key about a week ago! :(

Gonna be $40 for a new one, and I know I'll find the old one right after the new one is ready!

Ah crap! Still waiting for mine. I got two though (one for a friend). He's an opener, so as long as one is mint, I'm still good...

Wait a second, they didn't confiscate the damaged one? I had to give them my entire box of stuff when I filed my claim! You lucky SOB!!!

Completely frame worthy, and I always love to receive new most excellent Artoo artwork out of the blue. One day, I'll have an entire room full!
