I'm listening to the NPR Radio Drama of Empire Strikes Back and C-3PO is even more annoying than ever. :lol

Overall, I love the expansion that these dramas give the Trilogy.

Seeing that gives me a stiffy. I WANT A REASON TO GO TO IKEA DAMNIT!!!

Great artwork, gotta love those Swedes.

You'll always be #1 in my heart...

My friend says the food there is amazing. I've only been there for the detolfs.

It looks like he has a table growing out of his arm. Very T-1000ish.

Awww. Thanks Titus. Still, I'm coming for you Flosi and The Josh.

I would, but it says I need to spread it around.

Not a problem. I posted a pic of my entire collection a year or two back in this very thread, but I think I deleted it from my photobucket. If I get a chance, I'll take another group shot of all of them soon.

It's a lengthy one, but Titanosaurus is worth it. If I may recommend one of my favorite modern Godzilla films, check out Godzilla, Mothra, King Ghidorah: All Out Monsters Attack. That's one of my favorites.

I am very excited to check out some new Godzilla. I have AOMA in my Amazon basket. Any other recommendations? The DVDs are pretty cheap (very few on Blu it seems). I have been Wiki-ing and I see there have been 2 separate modern continuities, both jumping off from the original movie. I like that idea.

Did I mention to you guys that my ex-coworker shared an elevator yesterday with Carrie Fisher at the Cosmopolitan?

Said he asked her if she was Princess Leia, and her reply was, "No, actually Princess Leia is me."

I shared it on my FB page... :D

**** her! I'd love that question 35 years and 150 lbs after making a film no one thought would be remembered! :lol

I'd probly still **** her. Why not?

Especially in an elevator! I'd be all, "yeah, let's go to the detention level..."

This is how I gave out all my rep.

That's how I repped all the women I've loved.

I'll always be a fan of the classics from the 50s through the 70s above everything else. Nothing can beat the classic Mothra, Rodan, and King Ghidorah, in my opinion. I think my favorite Godzilla movie is probably Destroy All Monsters. That one has it all.

You are correct. After the initial series, there were two later movie eras, the Heisei series spanning from 1984-1995 and the Millennium series from 1999-2004. The Heisei series had a connecting story arch, but the Millennium movies do not. There are a couple Millennium movies that had sequels immediately after them like Godzilla 2000 and Godzilla vs. Megaguirus as well as Godzilla against Mechagodzilla and Godzilla: Tokyo SOS. However, the Millennium movies are meant to be standalone movies that recognize the original Godzilla as cannon and take an original approach to telling a separate Godzilla story.

I'm not a huge fan of the Heisei movies, but some standouts are Godzilla 1984, Godzilla vs. Biollante, Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla II and Godzilla vs. Destroyah. Destroyah is definitely my favorite of that series.

I think most of the Millennium films are worth watching. Godzilla, Mothra, King Ghidorah: All Out Monsters Attack is my favorite, but I think Godzilla 2000, Godzilla vs. Megaguirus, Godzilla Against Mechagodzilla, and Tokyo SOS are worth watching. You may want to avoid Final Wars.
