Ben, I just noticed my rep to you put you at six. That Emma gif worked wonders! :yess:

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

Thanks jkno! You pushed me over with 19 more points. So this is how it works? 0-100 is one green rancher? I have 409 with five ranchers.

Anyone pushing 500 points?

:hi5:

Going by the key at the bottom of the page, it's supposed to be a green circle with an arrow pointing left that indicates that you've posted in the thread, but I'm not seeing that on any threads on my end.

That is why I was wondering. It shows the green arrow down on the page but not on the thread list.

Sounds brutal, YoNoSe, but working at that pace, I'm surprised you weren't already burned out. A year is a long time to work under that much stress. Couple guys where I work just went through the same treatment and finally decided to quit. Once your direct boss or theirs takes an active dislike for you, your days are pretty much numbered. Like Ben says, hopefully this is a blessing in disguise and you land a better position soon.

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

Found out I am losing my job today. How? By finding the listing for my position online.

My boss has been antagonizing me for months. To the point where I had to go to her boss, who assured me she has a problem with everyone. He described her as bipolar and "she hates men." He asked me to please stick it out, that it would get better. I walked into the same guy's office today with the job listing on my phone and asked if he wanted to tell me anything. He looked at it and told me they were replacing me. Essentially because my boss and I had an argument wherein, she claims, I said I didn't care about my job (I didn't say that, I said I didn't care about the very small contribution she made to my workload by putting stickers on some files).

I'm so torn right now. I'm in a spot (though we are not out in the street by any means....my wife makes the real money) but at the same time, tremendously relieved that it's over. I've spent the last year going in early, staying late, and working through lunches to get an unrealistic amount of work done each day. I'm just nervous because it took a very long time to find this job and I can;t afford to have that happen again.

Anyhoo, sorry for the sob story. Heck of a day!
Man, that sucks! How long did you work there? On the bright side, you can file for unemployment. So at least you'll have SOME income, in addition to your wife's. Hopefully you'll be able to find a better job, without a jerk of a boss. My sister went through something similar with her supervisor, and was let go last week. It sucks, but hopefully you'll be better off in the long run...

Sideshow is offering DOUBLE rewards on one item per day now. Today is Gambit LS. This will make me re-think what I use coupons on, since double rewards COULD end up better than the coupon. Assuming they offer an item I want to buy...

:( Sorry to hear that man. Although, with you not being happy with the job it makes it a bit easier I'm sure. Here's hoping you snag something great soon. :1-1:

Actually, that is very helpful. So after we get to 6 jolly ranchers, the bar goes higher. Instead of every 100 points, we get ranchers every 200. And we max out at 11 ranchers...
