Dave said he's probably going to get rid of the rep system altogether. That makes me sad.

That would have been fine if that is what it was used for. The positive is likely to go away too - there's too much gratuitous rep being slung around.

Oops, I can't believe I typed that inadvertently! The blaster is so nice and neat against the wall, I can't believe it fell that way...

It looks like it's still falling to me, not against the wall... looks like you can see space between it and the mat on the floor.

I went to the Lego Store today for the first time to pick up a VIP card. Holy hell was is busy! Guy at the counter said it's like that every Saturday. I'll have to try to get back there sometime during the week. Got to see the Simpsons house! Looks awesome. I should've just bought it today... but am hoping for the double rewards to hit in March. *crosses fingers.

It seems like the rep system is being taken way to seriously... it's fun and I think the checks and balances in place are keeping it from getting completely out of hand. It's not surprising friends would rep each other and the ones that are doing it the most are "shocker" the ones on here the most... I don't see any harm in it.

I don't mind the negative going as I can see it being more problematic, but I really can't see much of a downside to postive rep

I don't mind the negative going away either. Positive seems harmless to me, though. I like it.

I still have negative rep capabilities for the time being, though. It seems like these changes that are made don't go through on everybody at the same time.

Yeah, the only bad thing about the positive rep is all the complaints from the people who don't get any reps. ....well, make some good posts and make some friends instead of complaining all the time and maybe you'll get rep too. People take things too seriously for sure.
