Years ago, when I was a software trainer/consultant, I was flying to a customer site on Super Bowl Sunday. I flew in, and raced to the resort where I was staying. I checked it, ran to my room, and could not find the TV. I looked for the phone to call the front desk, and couldn't find that either!
I walked back to the front desk and they said "oh, at Alisal Resort, we don't have technology. This is supposed to be a relaxing getaway, to get back to nature." or some crap like that. So I replied "I'm hear to work on your computer system. That's technology, isn't it? I need to watch the Super Bowl!" After a while, they gave in and setup a TV in their banquet hall for me. I missed the first half hour of the game. The funny thing is, as I'm watching, one by one others start to join me. First the maintenance staff, cooks, then other guests. By the time the game ended the room was PACKED!
