That's awesome! My wife and I talk about that all the time. We are WDW nerds.

Ben - that Godzilla does not disappoint! Congrats! Also, I just discovered that PS3 has some wacky free PPV that has a bunch of G movies. I watched the one you recommended yesterday and a couple of others. I like how they dis' the American movie. :lol

Believe me, I know you guys work your butts off. 6-day work weeks are never fun. I just wish I got all the holidays off that you guys get!

Where is the free PPV stuff at on the PS3? I'll have to look for it...

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

Super sick Boba Ben congrats! X-plus makes some great Godzilla stuff. I believe I heard this was a older kit X-plus required. Pretty beast.
That Godzilla is amazing. Love it.
Ben, that Godzilla looks great! Congrats!
LOVED the Godzilla pics, Ben! I didn't want to quote that cute post, but I really enjoyed them. The only downside to owning that is having the space to display it, cuz it is kinda large.
Cool Godzilla, Ben.
Dig the Zilla, Ben! That thing is a monstrosity :rock :rock :rock

I'm sure you could club an intruder to death with that thing.

Thanks hombres. He's my pride and joy.

Kenbenobi, he is a huge figure, but definitely worth the display space. I have a ton of really big display pieces that I don't have room for, but I've got them anyway. Many are stored away, waiting for the day I marry a doctor or a lawyer or a Taylor Swift.

King, I would reach for Tamashii C-3PO first. That's the most deadly figure club I own.

I'm glad you watched some of the modern Godzilla movies, YoNoSe. They do stick it to the '98 Godzilla movie a lot, deservedly so. I hate Final Wars, but they actually have Godzilla kill the American Godzilla in that one. Best scene in the movie. I also didn't know about the PS3 streaming thing. Will have to check it out.

Hey Ben, I've been meaning to ask you. Are you related to a Scott (same last name as you)?

Not that I know of. It's not a common name as far as I know, but there seem to be a few of us around. Some up in Milwaukee. Kevin Smith's wife has the same name too.

I'm apparently related to one of the people that helped with the invention of the typewriter. His first name was Mathias. In fact there's a typewriter displayed at the Milwaukee Museum with a blurb that mentions him. I haven't inherited any of that sweet typewriter money, though.

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

Got laid this morning. A nice change of pace. I feel like Flosi!

Gotta work today... AFC & NFC championships and all that. :(

Shatner's World tomorrow evening though! :yess:

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

I think you misunderstood me. Basically, I'm asking if you are certain that points are tied to a RECEIPT, or do they go by DATE? At TRU, they are not tied to a receipt. They go by date. If you could buy something today and earn 100 points, and return it during a double points period, 200 are taken away, even though you only earned 100 when you bought it. Unless you have ever returned something during a double points period, you may not know the answer.

Oh!!! Then I don't know. Punk will be our guinea pig then. :lol :lol

Haha, with it being 90 days I could return it in April after the double rewards period. :D Are the double rewards usually the full month?

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

Ben, that Godzilla is dope! Nice score!

I found it by going to the Store and searching for Godzilla. A bunch of movies came up. You can either buy them in HD or SD, or watch for free (but with commercials). The commercials are annoying of course but it beats paying for unknown commodities.

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

At least you get holiday pay, Madcow. Walgreens doesn't even recognize it as a holiday. :(

Oh I don't get it for tomorrow. I meant the big holidays: Xmas, Turkey Day, New Years and Fireworks Day. That's it. I get nothing fort tomorrow except a regular day.

I was going to do that but backed out to go ahead and finish this semester. May go in the summer as they allow seniors to go after graduating.

The one that I knew actually lived in Gurnee, last I spoke to him. He worked in the hotel industry. Pretty sure he was from IL, but not necessarily from Gurnee. That's just where he was working 10 years ago. I haven't spoken to him since...
As for inventing the typewriter, that's cool. I'm sure he'd gladly turn over the typewriter patent to you now, since nobody makes or uses typewriters anymore! :lol But yes, once upon a time, the dude must have been rich...

I totally misread that. I thought you said you got laid off at first... Have fun taking a Shat... ner! I look forward to hearing about it...

Good point! :lecture I may go that route! I wouldn't chance returning it in March, just in case they're set-up like TRU...

Good morning all!
Good afternoon!

Cool, thanks for the info. I didn't know they offered free commercial stuff. That could be good, in a pinch. Of course, I own pretty much everything known to man already...

I've been going through my DVD's for the last few hours, picking out ones to sell at the upcoming toy show... A few had bonus features that the DVD didn't have, so I have to keep them... But I took the discs, put them in a white sleeve, and placed them in the BD case for the same movie. So at least I'm gaining some space back...

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

Just watched Wrath of Khan. How come there are no decent Trek figures? I have to admit that I like even the crappy Trek movies. Kirk, Bones and Spock singing Row, Row, Row Your Boat? Yeah, it got me.

They don't sell well... The first Trek movie figures can still be found at my TRU's... And even the Diamond Select Shatner and Nimoy figures don't sell well...
Trek is dead. I think without a TV series, and way too long between movies, there just isn't enough public interest.

I have a pretty large Trek collection. Most of the figures. I really need to figure out which ones I still need. They're pretty cheap to buy...
Repped for liking Trek! :hi5:
