Super Mario Sunshine was my game when I was little. Ah good times.

Haven't you learned your lesson with "Like New" copies yet?

Nope. Looking at ones that describe the disc, have better feedback or give me a straight answer when I ask about condition. Sealed copies cost too much.

Fair enough. Any luck so far besides SMS?

I was outbid today on a Miss Piggy Sideshow bust. It ended up selling for a bargain, too. I just didn't bid high enough. :gah::gah:
On the plus side, I made good use of my holiday today. Did some cleaning, and finally started prep work for the collector show I'm selling at soon... I still have a long way to go, but I've finally got a system in place... I just hope my stuff actually sells. I'd hate to go through all this work, and bring it all home with me. If I sell half, I'll be satisfied. Any more than that would be gravy. But I have a bad feeling I'll only sell like 25% of it...

Go into it with no expectations. If you need to make it go then be willing to price it to move or at least be willing to haggle. I price things about 10-25% less than eBay prices and it seems to work. Then again if it's a really cheap crowd there's not much you can do. The last show I did was really bad. It was all $10 and under sales. People were just not spending.

Try to set up as soon as possible as well. Some of my best customers have been other dealers before the doors even opened.

Knowing me, I'll trade stuff with other dealers for stuff that I want. Or I'll spend more than I make by buying from other dealers...

I've actually had good success with Ebay lately. Sold over $1600 on Ebay in the last 2 months, according to Ebay. That's before fees, of course. So if something doesn't sell at the show, I'll just Ebay it. But it would be nice to unload some stuff locally...

Nice job on the eBay sales! I like doing eBay, I just haven't had the time and I've been holding off for the show. I'd rather take it and have cash in hand and not have the hassle of shipping plus I just like selling. I've been setting up at flea markets since I was a kid. It's fun.

What is it? I'd give anything to be in the same room as TJ Hooker.

He did this show on Broadway for a short stint. It's basically anecdotes of his life told in a semi-non-linear fashion. Very entertaining two hours. Last time I saw the man, was at a Trek convention in D.C. when he was hocking his directorial debut for Trek. That was V, right? So about winter of '88!

That sounds cool. I'd see it. I didn't know it was on Broadway otherwise I would have made a trip up there.
