Yeah, I'd love to put in savings for the future but we've never had the chance to. All my jobs I've just been getting by and haven't had much extra income to put away. This past year my wife and I have both been working but we've used the added income to clear out debt which we've just about done and now she's on the verge of being unemployed again. It's a never ending cycle. Hopefully once both girls are in public school we can use that extra income and stash it away... Homes defintely are a money pit. We did some minor renovations after we bought it but stopped. Now we're coming across repairs that need to be done and it's going to start adding up again.

Add to the list college education, too.
Getting much more difficult to get ahead and stay ahead.

Good you guys have plans to stash some away. Always good to have a rainy day fund, or get the **** outta dodge fund.

Im a prepper not like doomsday preppers. But I have food and water storage. Guns etc.. and preparing for the worst is a must I believe!

Bummed as I am to hear that others are wrestling with jobs and finances, short and long term, selfishly it does make for a comforting reality check on this board that I'm not the only one. With the pre-ordering and buying frenzies and hype that goes on in figure/statue threads it's easy to lose that perspective - sometimes I feel like I've been caught out at a private sandstone school wearing worn-out sneakers and a moth-eaten sweater. At the end of the day I've got a roof over my head, a beautiful little family that eats well, and some money left over to indulge my hobbies every now and again (even though I'd be better off saving every penny or replacing our washing machine). And apart from my needing a new hip, we're all healthy, which is the biggest blessing of all.

Where the heck is that? I see the word National and Movie in English, but the rest is foreign. Is that for an exhibit somewhere?

Damn, I see now that in the 1/30 email the Vader Mythos was listed as sold out. But in the 1/23 email he was NOT in the limited quantity list. I've been monitoring the limited quantity list, and was gonna buy him if he ever went on that list. I am very saddened by this. I see the Fett is also sold out now. Not sure when that happened. I thought both were in-stock the last time I checked... I will NOT pay secondary market prices for either of them. I guess I'm just not meant to have them... There's only one thing to make this situation better... pity rep!

Sorry you missed out Ken! Maybe the waitlist will convert for you.
Vader is my fav out of Fett and Kenobi. He came in perfect shape. The only nitpick is the orange on the helmet is more yellowish than on the suit.
I now have 5 statues in about 14months!
Wish I had Gammy though.
