Sorry fellers… Sometimes I lose my mind, and get all over-sensitive…

Never thought it would take so long to land a position in my field, especially with my willingness to relocate and live spartan, and accept a PRN, or part-time position. Been really in the dumpers this week, and can't seem to drag myself out. Then add the fact that I had to endure yet another Super Bowl in the sports book, when I thought I'd never have to do so again… Meh…

It has been around a hundred degrees here for the past few weeks, including today, 104. The weather report this morning described it as "warm and sunny".

Could you please send some of that over here? I think you can spare 20 degrees or so...

Oh for sure! This is just the table he set up to play Lego with his 4 kids. He doesn't really collect them. Still pretty sweet.

I can't believe you haven't scored a job yet either. Your time will come! You aren't being picky about locations, are you? Are you applying EVERYWHERE you see an opening? Do you keep in contact with others from your graduating class? Curious if they are also having trouble, or if they already got jobs...
I guarantee you'll never see another Super Bowl in the casino. I have faith in you!!! But seeing as we're on the subject, I must ask. Do you know if anyone placed a bet that the first play of the game would be a safety? I bet that paid off insanely well... I'm thinking the casinos made money on those "first play" bets.

Yeah, I think I saw 60/1 for safety as the first play. And a few people played it for a bit. A lot of the betting public bet on "will there be a safety" which was +450, so I paid a lot of those tickets, but all for small money...

I have kept in touch with my class. I'm having lunch with one of them this week. Only one of the ten has a job. And she had previous experience as a radiologist. I'm not being picky. I will say I laid off the applications for awhile. But I'm back at it. There is actually that PRN position at the prostate center here in town, I mentioned last week. But it's not materializing as of yet...

Just gotta keep trudging.

I really really really hope you get a job before May (when new graduating classes suddenly emerge as new competitors). Apply hard and heavy for the next 3 months, before the new competition hits the market.
