It's 20 degrees cooler today, don't know if it ended up on your side Had a warm shower for the first time in weeks, and I can work from home today - our little evaporative cooler doesn't do too well in 100 degree heat.

I am jealous. I need that Vader! I could buy it, seeing as I cleared $301 in sales yesterday...

I looked at it, it's called my house.

Seriously, I don't have anything else. I'm screwed...

I am not saving well for retirement at all. After I pay the house off (which I am aggressively trying to do) then I'll start saving more and more...

As long as the housing market doesn't crash then yeah, we went in with a large deposit so there's some equity. My wife and I are also only children so there's that as well down the line.

Never thought it would take so long to land a position in my field, especially with my willingness to relocate and live spartan, and accept a PRN, or part-time position. Been really in the dumpers this week, and can't seem to drag myself out. Then add the fact that I had to endure yet another Super Bowl in the sports book, when I thought I'd never have to do so again… Meh…

Yeah, I'd love to put in savings for the future but we've never had the chance to. All my jobs I've just been getting by and haven't had much extra income to put away. This past year my wife and I have both been working but we've used the added income to clear out debt which we've just about done and now she's on the verge of being unemployed again. It's a never ending cycle. Hopefully once both girls are in public school we can use that extra income and stash it away... Homes defintely are a money pit. We did some minor renovations after we bought it but stopped. Now we're coming across repairs that need to be done and it's going to start adding up again.
