I'm just trying to get caught up on this thread. I only missed it for a few days, and there are PAGES upon PAGES of posts! Holy carp!

We were very busy yesterday. Or if you consider that most of these posts were done from work, probably not busy.

I didn't even know Harmy had done all of the films! I only saw ANH on DVD. I didn't know a BD version existed either! And I'm a DVD/BD nut (over 4000 titles owned)! I need to track these down ASAP!

I think the PT is by L8Wrtr... or something similar to that name. Pretty decent as they make the films suck a lot less, but the editing is a bit too heavy on TPM and some of the inserted scenes are pretty low quality (Qui Gon cutting a probe droid in half).

But, definitely worth the watch... I was surprised how much the small tweaks improved the films..

It's amazing how a simple change like removing the dialog from the Battle Droids made a huge improvement. And as I suspected, the pod race is much better without that stupid two-headed announcer.

The available ROTJ and ESB are both 720p. I have converted them to BluRay format.

While he will revisit them, he has said there is not much he is looking to do as of now. And right now Star Wars is in the works slowly. ESB and ROTJ are down the line and we have no idea how long that will take as this is all done in free time.


Also:

Harmy did not do the prequels. Those are however the best edits of the prequels that make them actually viewable and in full 1080p

You don't put yours on blu ray discs, though, right?

Yeah, last update I read was towards the end of January, and he said it would be another month or two. Maybe by the end of March?!?
