re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

Don't worry, she's hooked on cons now. We just did Megacon here last weekend and she's crazy for the next!

She's even talking about a new costume. Hints... Padme... cold weather... :horror

Heya fellas... back from a short vacation to Florida. Funny thing is I was in Tampa during the Megacon; but was at a friends wedding so that was a no go :monkey2

But on the bright side I spent the last day of the trip at Universal Studios. The Wizarding World of Harry Potter was epic! The rest of the park is very nice as well, but all the Potter stuff was very cool. Makes he wish one day we'll see a Star Wars park as part of the new deal with Disney.

What did you end up going with?

I qent with the Panasonic VIERA TC-P65GT50. 65 inches of pleasure. :lol

I saw your pictures on Facebook. Looks like you guys had a great time. I have yet to go to Universal, but it's at the top of the list because of the Potter stuff. A Star Wars park like that would rock!

It was really badass... we just went to the "Islands of Adventure" park (which has the majority of the rides anyway) and had a great time.

It sucks to pay more, but I'd definitely recommend the "Express Pass" option. We could pretty much walk onto rides that had estimated wait times of an hour. So, it essentially doubled the cost of a ticket, but we got 5-6 times more enjoyment out of the day.

Hey Flo I might have a B-Wing for you. Also what's your limit on the Sandcrawler? The guy on Twitter is asking 2 hundred plus shipping from Australia.

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

Honestly, I can't even spend 200 on it right now. We're enrolling Gabe into private school and it's going to cost a mint... I might be able to swing the B-Wing though. Just LMK.

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

Private school, huh? That's a tough one, I keep looking at public and charter schools for my oldest son. I mean I'm a product of the public education system but... that ain't saying much. That's a rough decision. I'll get back to you on the B-Wing.

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

Well, we're only having one. We pay 250 for three days of pre-school right now. They offer Pre-K at that same school but we don't like the teacher (even though she's our friend's aunt :lol) so it's pushed us to make a choice a little sooner than we would have liked. We're looking at about 550 a month at a catholic school, and since we don't pay for child care it's workable.

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

250 for 3 days... damn that's pricey :google But seems everything in the Bay Area is :lol

Like you we're one and done :lecture

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

And that's only 8:30-12:30. :(

Yeah, I would love to have more kids but my wife went through some really rough post-partum stuff.

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

Sorry to hear that... the wife and I went back and forth but finally settled on one of our own and maybe adopt later if we feel the need for a 2nd child. But honestly I'm content.

Also, it having met my insurance deductible for the year kind of sped up the decision, so I got clipped at the end of last year :lol

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

Private school isn't cheap that's for sure. There are pluses for sending a kid to private school but if I have kids someday I think I'll stick with the public school system. Unless I end up teaching at a private school and they can just go where I'm at.
