re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

I can't see the pics from my work computer. Did you get Snake, Rattle and Roll?

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

When I saw the title I had immediate flash backs that I didn't even knew I had in my brain :lol

Frustrating is a understatement!

Hahaha. Sit down, have a drink and breath deeply. It'll all be ok...

I used to rage terribly over NES games but it was so much fun. TV's, controllers, walls, they all felt my wrath.

That's a sweet haul! Congrats!

Loved the JAWS game for NES even though it made little to no sense. :p

Jaws is an odd game for sure. I watched a review video recently where someone said it's basically an RPG. You troll the waters to different lands and have to stop and kill whatever gets in your path. Kinda funny when you think of it that way.

No, that wasn't in there but I do vaguely remember it. I'll get it eventually as I'm on a quest to get as any as I can.

:lol

I had a really good friend would literally fly into fits of rage. That would be about the time his Mom would come down stairs and either beat his ass or kick us both outside, or both :lol :lol :lol

It's nice that we are all old enough to have had/experienced a NES. :)

Yeah, I'm surprised I didn't end up with some worse personality disorder from how much rage those games could generate in my tiny body :lol

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

I broke a few 2600 controllers in fits of rage.

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

Funny I don't remember any games as a child that had me wanting to break controllers, now as an adult that's a whole different story.

Only game I remember that drove me insane was pitfall.

Other than myself, NES was the thing I played with most as a kid. Before school, after school. I remember praying for snow days so I could glue my eyes to the TV.

Yeah those were frustrating as hell too. With Atari it was more anger at the damn controller for not working properly.

So, if anyone has been on the fence about ordering the '66 Batman figures, now is the time. Sidehow has them for 10% off w/free shipping and double rewards. I also used the $20 off code so in total both were $335 shipped and I'll get about $35 in RP :rock :rock :rock So, in reality just $300 for the pair.

So maybe I haven't completely lost my ability to find deals. I am curious if the $20 off code will stick... seems the 10% off or Free shipping might nulify it, but it seems they let those slide now too :huh At the very least the order went through.

That's so Waller :rolleyes2

Brilliant! That's GB I know and love.

I saw that Avatar guy 10%, shipping and $42 in rewards. I thought about buying just for the rewards points and then immediately selling it, but my luck I wouldn't be able to sell it :(

Why are games like the only thing that isn't insanely expensive 20 years later. You figure since a game in '93 was $50, they should be $500 now :lol
