re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

I was waving to you from Milwaukee. Did you see me???

In your honest, unbiased opinion, how was the 3D on Jurassic Park? Did they do a good conversion?

it was alright, not too mind blowing. i just watch it for the movie anyways. it was my 68th viewing.

Hookers of course!:yess:

We have 3 (maybe 4 shows at night)
Red Rock Canyon
Mob Museum! :rock
Chinatown
Downtown
Chuck Jones exhibit
Titanic exhibit
Shark Reef
And I will ride the roller coaster at NYNY! lol

Plus the new Caesar's buffet, and any other good buffet.
Lots of eating will be involved.
Where is there a Chuck Jones exhibit? If it was there when I lived in Vegas, I will kick myself! And where did they open a mob museum? It sounds cool...

I can't believe you know how many times you've seen it. That is impressive. I don't think I could say how many times I've seen the SW Trilogy, but I'm quite sure I've seen ANH and ESB more than any other film.

I'll probably see JP. I pay 30 bucks a month for a pass to see up to 31 movies in the theater (I can see one per day), so it's cheap enough for me. I try to see pretty much every film that comes out... If anyone else is a movie freak like me and wants more info, I can send you a PM. The price can vary depending on your location, but it's still gonna be dirt cheap... It doesn't cover 3D costs, but there are ways around it...

The ticket to JP 3D was $17 at my theater. It stung a bit.

I know! It was $18 at Navy Pier. I dunno if I should say this (Aaron will probably kill me!) but I'll go ahead anyway since I'm not at his house anymore!:rotfl:rotfl:lol:lol

He bought us 4 tickets so we would have two seats extra to the sides of us since it was assigned seating. That way we wouldn't have doofuses sitting next to us and stuff.

Happy birthday to me indeed!! :lol

I finally got my wife's photo collage hung, so here's a shot of Waller Theater.

My first month I saw 28 movies in 31 days. I went a bit overboard. Now I just see 2-3 a week. I even saw 2 movies in Phoenix when I was on vacation, just to kill some time, since it doesn't cost me anything (and I can go to pretty much any theater in the US).

In case anyone was curious, here are pics of the DairyCon Exclusive SW figures from 2013. The one with the cheesehead is the limited variant. :lol

And yes, that IS an Aluminum Falcon!

It's quite simply atrocious. And I think it's sacrilegious too! ;)

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

I saw that back when it was originally released and then again last year. It's cheesy, but it's during Michael's and George's prime, so it's worth seeing. If your download looks good, I may be interested. :wave
The quality for Captain EO isn't the greatest, but it's watchable. The Full Screen version appears to be better quality, but you can choose between FS and WS. The short version of the behind the scenes footage is poor but watchable. The long version of the behind the scenes footage is absolutely terrible and way too painful to watch. Unfortunately, you can't fast forward through anything, and the only chapter stops are for the FS/WS/Short/Long videos I described above. But it is a nice piece of Lucas nostalgia.

If you have an account for News Groups I can send you the NZB file so you can download it yourself. If you have no idea what I'm talking about, I won't bother to explain. News Groups are archaic, but a wonderful way to distribute DVD images. Assuming you don't use them, I could certainly send you a copy. Just shoot me a PM with your addy.
