re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

So an eBayer takes 4 days to pay and within 2 days, asks when it's going to ship. :cuckoo:
LOL. Typical eBay buyer entitlementitis. **** if I don't hate the **** out of eBay and eBay buyers. But not unlike women, they are necessary, if far from perfect.

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

I should start putting this message in my listings. :lol

"The speed of my shipping will be based on the speed of your paying. Pay within a day and I will ship within a day. Pay within 4 days..." :pfft:

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

I'm a couple grand poorer today. **** you very much, government!

Yeah all the buyer entitlement is pretty absurd. How much does ebay/paypal make off buyers? /sarcasm

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

But the poster fund remains unscathed ! :yess:

And that sir is what truly matters ! :hi5:

Probably because my wife doesn't know it's there. :lol

But I figure since I'm selling stuff to fund it, there's no reason to. :yess:

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

That's how I've been rolling with collecting for a while now... just sell old stuff to fund the new. That way I don't feel like I'm wasting household income for my sillyness :lol

Yikes! How does that happen that you owe that much? If it's too intrusive of a question I apologize, I just always wonder how people end up owing. I make sure my checks are taxed to death so I don't owe and get the most back.

This is how I've collected pretty much for the last 10 years, only way it's been possible.

We did have a relocation last year from Texas to Oklahoma, so I know that added some income that we don't normally get. Plus, 1/3 of our taxes we paid today were for this great state. :cuckoo:

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

Oklahoma sucks... I've never owed more than a tiny bit in State taxes elsewhere, but here they really gouge you.

But really, I guess that's the privilege for being 47th in education :lol

Thats the best way to collect, get rid of the stuff that isn't really that great anymore and make way for the newer and cooler. Then in 5 years you regret selling something and pay 2 times what you sold it for to get it back :rotfl

Yeah, I do the same. There's also display space to take into account. Can't just keep buying without running out of room. :lecture
