re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

Nice! I will probably see it later tonight when my wife gets home or tomorrow afternoon cause she wants to see it too.

Ya depending on the movie now, a bunch of us try taking half days to go see it during the day instead of the weekend. It can be a mad house around here.

So I have a question... that has probably been answered in the past 8,000+ posts but I'm not going back through it all...

Why is this called Flossi's Cantina when Flossi wasn't the one that started the thread?

First rule of Flosi's Cantina
is you don't talk about Flosi's Cantina.

I am also taking a half day today to go see Iron Man 3.

Crap, that's out already? Since I've been working I've been out of the loop until I can get myself adjusted.

I guarantee that's why Sideshow is closed for 3.5 hours today. In-house training. Right. :lol

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

I saw it last night. I thought it was a fairly enjoyable movie, but the comic fan in me was a little disappointed with some of the choices they made.

Mums the word. :)

Did you get my FB message with your total and DC#?

Agreed... killing Tony Stark and making Wolverine the new Iron Man... rediculous.

It's Friday!

Hahaha, that's awesome! :rotfl

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

I believe the thought was to have a dedicated thread to discuss Star Wars that was relaxed and fun without all the insults and pettiness that sadly takes place all the time on these forums. Flosi is one of the nicest and most easy-going guys here. I think Deak probably thought that Flosi sort of embodied the spirit of this thread, if you know what I mean.

Go **** yourself. And Flossi too... this place is ****!

:lol

Morning everyone! Man, the cantina is already busy!!

Anyone see the Lone Ranger Legos? Went to look at sets yesterday on the way home and saw those and the new Man of Steel sets. The stage coach set looks pretty cool.

I got the stagecoach, the bank robbery set, and the train from Lone Ranger. And the two big Man of Steel sets. Gonna bust those open soon! :rock

Who here is a member of the Gentle Giant PGM? I'm having a hard time deciding on what I want to pick as my free gift...
It's down to the clear Vader bust and the vintage proto giant Boba Fett.
I don't collect the giant vintage figures, but part of me thinks it will be worth some $ down the line. I do collect the SW busts, but I would hate to get the Vader only to see it still in stock months from now when I could use my $30 coupon on it.
No real interested in the Mace Windu or the War Machine. Although Mace could be worth $ down the line too, but I don't really collect many of the prequel busts.

I would go for the vintage Boba. Of all the choices, that one's likely the one to sell for more later on.

Anybody going to SDCC want to get me a exclusive Boba Fett?
