re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

Hey Rick, you'll have to be on the lookout for this soon:

Salacious Crumb Proto.jpg

It's going to be part of a Funko Pop! 3 pack along with Jabba and Slave Leia , exclusive to Walmart.

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

Funko sure likes making exclusives. :slap

Their Wal-mart exclusive for Frozen sat forever. Maybe due to the $30 price tag which this will have I am sure.

Sucks that they are rehashing two releases with a new pop since I have both Jabba and Leia.

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

Our kitchen in the new apartment was a bit boring so we decided to get a photo wallpaper. Its a picture of a grafitti wall that I took on our first trip to New York :)

Finally feels like we are done with fixing up the place!

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

I do my best. It's just that I don't like parties, Chicago is too congested and busy for me, and I've already met the love of my life, but she put me in the phantom zone on Facebook and I defriended her, so I'm done.

This is why you fail. :)

Ask yourself what it is you don't like about parties... and correct that.
*I don't like going to parties cause I always end up sitting in the corner and no one talks to me... = Go talk to people, don't wait for them to talk to you
*I don't like parties cause everyone is drinking and I don't... = who cares, drunk people are fun to entertain and they think you are 80% funnier than you actually are. :D
*I don't like parties cause there are too many people around... = single out a few people and head to the patio or somewhere less crowded

Chicago is too congested for you...
*It may seem that way cause you never give yourself a chance to get used to it. Think of it like swimming... dive in... eventually you get to know the flow of the waves and know what's what and it isn't so scary anymore. Same thing with girls... if you only approach the girls you are interested in then every encounter is going to be scary as hell. Overthinking every word and action cause it balances on if she will like you back or not. Talk to girls you aren't interested in just like you would someone you were interested in. (aside from telling them you like them. :lol ) This I can tell you gets easier each time. I once dated a girl I started out having no interest in really at the beginning and she turned out to be one of the best girlfriends I ever had, and one of my best friends as well.

You've already met the love of your life...
*No, no you haven't. You only set her up as that in your mind... you never went out with her even. First date she could've eaten her peas with a knife and you'd say, "That's it! I'm out!" You think you'll never find someone better than her...? Better than someone who gave you mixed signals and cancelled plans and doesn't like what you like?... if that is where your bar is set... pick it up off the ground my friend, it should be much higher than that. You say you're done, but you never got started.

If you really want to make Ken happy, tell him you saved 10% on a dollar refill at Universal! :rotfl

:rotfl Brilliant!
Kenben cares more about what he saves than what he buys or spends. "I just got a great deal!! I had to buy stuff I didn't really care for, and have no room for, and didn't have the money for either, as well as meet a $500 minimum order... but I saved $40!" :lol

Re: (FLOSI'S Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

Good stuff Punk. Thats pretty much what happened at Celebration and we still had tons of fun. We made the table the non drinking table without even knowing haha and still interacted with everyone. Even though we didn't drink we were still involved with the flow of everything. Look for the plus side of not drinking. I had lots of food because no one cared to eat!

:D Thanks Cody. Yeah, I've never drank and went to tons of parties where people were drinking and always had fun. I'd get asked to go to bars with groups a lot as well cause I was an obvious choice for designated driver. :lol Now if there were drugs at a party, that's when I'd decide to leave... "I ain't going to jail for you...or anybody!" (name that movie.)

Yeah non drinker friends are the best kinds of friends as long as they enjoy going to same places you do.

I may need the M.U.S.C.L.E. figures in my life... if those are an actual release from Mattel that would be a pretty huge development as they really haven't done anything retro or tied into the line since the 80's. Even the short-lived Kinnikuman 2nd Generation stuff was sold in the US by Bandai.

Would be cool if they expanded the M.U.S.C.L.E. style to other properties... but at the very least He-Man is a great fit.

Mother of God... so stoked :yess:

**** YEAH! Boom stick :rock :rock :rock :rock

Bruce, Zena and the evil deal?!?!? I'm in!

Right, damn... that looks incredible.

I sold mine and don't regret it. :lol

Same here, the MOTUC stuff is great... but just not my thing. I had a pretty nice set of them, but got out fairly early and don't regret it at all.

I just started selling off my Futurama figures as well, with those gone I'll be at pretty much only 1/6, vintage and a few statues and props in my collection. They were the last big chunk of modern toys I had.

I want this as a tattoo!

I think it would be a cool one... not much is more Star Wars than that.

Love the Cliff Notes version :lol But all sage advice that falls on deaf ears.

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

I didn't really, I just made up something so kenben would be happy. I really don't want the Yoda and Luke Hallmark. :monkey3

Kenbenobi :thwak Furystorm

He was pissed when he couldn't get the 10% for the refill at that one stand, remember??!?!?!?!? :lol :lol
Was not! I asked for it, but was NOT pissed when I got denied! Kenbenobi :thwak UTtoyfan

Same here, and I totally agree. Well, I didn't open either of those, so I can probably swap em out at Target for different ones. Some Targets are carrying them again, and they should be the same DPCI.

It must be "pick on Kenben" day. :( :monkey2

Not that you're going... :monkey3

Well the day of the week ended in a "y" which is designated as pick on Kenben day.
Well, that makes sense then... HEY, wait a second! All of the days end in Y!
Interesting frame from the SW video that came out of Comic Con.

I noticed that 2 months ago, in some pic released. I forgot what it was... Hard to believe we're just 5 1/2 months away from TFA!!! :panic::panic::panic:

I don't think Mattel has anything to do with the MOTUSCLE release. It would make sense if they did but if anything I think it would be just the licensing thing. Super7 kind of acts on their own with their releases.

I totally regret selling my Futurama figures. When I was unemployed the line hit its peak in value and I cashed out with a pretty hefty profit which helped a lot but looking back I wish I would have kept them. :(
