Put up almost $8,000 worth of Sideshow on ebay. Let's see if people bite. :)

Good article.
He was a brilliant actor but didn't seem to relax and enjoy the ride and certainly misjudged the masses taste for sci Fi and Tennyson Ford.:lol

UT, do you do pretty well on eBay? Have you ever been ripped off there? I'm wanting to start selling but I've never sold anything over $50. I'm nervous to say that least. :lol

Isn't the limit 20k when they send the 1099?even then you only have to claim profits.

I think I have. :(

Starting in 2011, PayPal is required by the IRS to report the sales of goods and services for customers who, in a single year receive:

More than $20,000, AND 200 or more payments.

Me too. I got a few things i've been trying to sell here (and on other boards) but no luck so i might have to sell it on ebay but it's PF's and 1:1 busts and it just feels risky.

To me honestly, at the end of the day, eBay is always the best bet. I've been selling on there for the last 17 years and have had maybe 10 bad transactions out of thousands. Are there bad buyers? Yes. More times than not they're just uninformed and have a different perception of what they're buying, but if you take the time to take accurate pics of your stuff and give very honest and detailed descriptions then you should be fine.

I have had little to no issues with eBay either. I have sold PFs and stuff like that. One person claimed a diorama came damaged, when I pushed for more evidence of the damage he suddenly went away. I take pictures of the item as I box it back up showing it was packed correctly and no damage existed when packing it. I also always insure the items. I have used insurance twice due to the delivery company just destroying the box and the item. Had no issues with the claim and came out losing no money.
