I already have the unofficial ones without the Nike symbol or Mags logo on back... but if I can score these for a decent price I am in for sure.

Decent price? Well, it will cost less than your T-800, but I don't see these being in my price-range. I'm betting $300 or more...

I decide to skip ordering the Sphero BB-8 and bought some sealed vinyl off eBay instead - Flashpoint by the a Rolling Stones and Three Sides Live by Genesis. Both still cheaper than BB-8.

But, but, but, BB-8!!! Bad call... Rolling Stones and Genesis have been around forever. You could have waited longer, and got something more fun!

I have BB-8 Pre-ordered. Funds are to scattered to get right now.

I Kenned them down on the price. 10% off anyway...

Would be perfect at $100, but I have no regrets. He's a blast, but also my only pre-release purchase.

Also, yes, sold out everywhere in Vegas, so I suspect elsewhere as well. Amazon is back ordered and he's gone everywhere I checked. Eventually I had to hit a few Radio Shacks to find one, and settle for a broken taped box. Fine by me, since I intend on using him judiciously.

BB-8 can be set to patrol which allows him to wander around on his own. Not ideal, of course, in a home with dogs or cats.

The same derisive comment could be made about every single other toy any of us buy.
