BB-8 can be set to patrol which allows him to wander around on his own. Not ideal, of course, in a home with dogs or cats.

The same derisive comment could be made about every single other toy any of us buy.

I was all excited about the 1/6 Nemesis from Resident Evil, then I saw the price when it went up for pre-order on BBTS and I got a lot less excited.

Holy cow. That Nemesis price is nuts. I was going to pick this up. It looks like it is going to be a huge figure though.

I have BB8 pre-ordered through Amazon. My son loves stuff like this.

I think BB-8 will hold value unless they pump out a billion of them by Xmas. Even if they do, it does look really nice and seems to be about 1/6 scale so it will appeal to the average high end collector.
