I'm fresh off of a warranty call yesterday of some lady wanting something covered that wasn't and giving sob stories of why we should cover it for her. So I'm a bit biased.
Long story short, she bought the unit used years ago (warranties don't transfer so at that point she had no warranty) But due to a serial # error the last 5 or so things she sent in were covered under warranty and we replaced them. So she got 5 free things on an error. We noticed that the serial # was wrong and that there was no warranty on that machine. So when she sent in another item for warranty, it wasn't covered. She flipped out. Even though she had received 5 or more things covered that never should have been to begin with, she was mad at us that we wouldn't cover this one last thing for her.
