Dude, if that's all he has then it really is not bad. I've followed the collections of some sneakerheads for a while and it can get down right insane. It's nothing for some people to drop thousands on single pairs.

That is true. Some peoples collections are nuts.

I'm so bummed. The beginning of October used to be such a high for me with Spooktacular on the horizon. :(
 
I guess that means I'd have to pay to ship it back and they'd deduct what I paid to have it shipped here, so that's like $70 right there. I guess I could take the extra $5 credit they offered. :rolleyes2
What a bunch of dicks.

At least once upon a time their customer service was second to none. Now their customer service is as bad as their quality control.

I know. Just giving him a hard time is all. Some of those sneaker collections I've seen are crazy!
 
Ben, just let them know politely that you will be reversing the charge with whatever CC company you charged it on. Also, that you will be closing your account, and no longer doing business with them.

(Won't really work that well if you have a lot of NRD's tied up in them still.) :mad:

Nice of them to up their offer on the refund. :slap Their CS has been going downhill for the past few years, this is a big slap in the face. I'd be p***** off over this. I love how the keep referencing it's no longer under warranty. Like if it was, this wouldn't have happened. fury has a point with contacting the CC company. Either way, get as much back as you can.

I have a few NRDs tied up, so a reverse charge and cancellation probably wouldn't be a very good option. I'd feel like a chump if I take the $35, but it could cost me $50 or more to ship the thing back to them. Guess I'll sleep on it.
 
See if they can create a label and deduct the charge from the refund, it should at least them cost you less to ship it back.

It's the same thing over and over for people complaining about their policy.... and it always starts with...."I bought this thing 3 months ago and just opened it..." They know they have to check them when they come in.... but they don't... and if something is wrong they want SSC to cover them even though they are out past the 30 days. CHECK IT WITHIN THE 30 DAYS!
Sideshow's QC has become crap, so if you don't check it as soon as you get it you are only causing yourself a problem. I always check my things when they come in... numerous times I've had issues. I let SSC know, and they always replace the item no problem. Sometimes twice when the second one is flawed. Stay within the rules and you won't have to worry about calling SSC customer service crap, cause they aren't. It's stated 30 days... anything they offer after that they really don't have to. If they cover someone for 35 days, then the guy that waited 36 will complain and want covered too... then the guy that waited 45... then 3 months... where does it end? They are a business and have to cover their end as well. Just sayin'.
Does it suck that Ben's dino is flawed? Absolutely. And that sucks to see. But Sideshow has no way of knowing if he tried to alter it and effed it up and now wants to say he just opened it... Ben would never do that, but others would.
