Thanks Punk! I am definitely planning to go. I sent the request off to the boss this week, but I'm not sure if I should take the whole day off or just the afternoon. I don't know what everybody else is planning, but I'd be game for meeting up earlier before fury gets into Chicago if anybody else wants to hang out. Maybe go to the museum or something. I don't know what train Kenben takes down to Chicago, but mine starts in Fox Lake, IL. and ends at Union Station, so I think it's definitely a different line.

Sweet! I will probably leave here at 8 am or so, which would put me in Chicago around 10 or 11. I think they are an hour behind. I will be taking the van so i can pick you both up if need be.

Well the year is of to a horrible start, spent about 12 hours in the hospital sofar today since my gf has horrible pain in her stomach and they can't find anything wrong with her. Even the CT didn't show anything. So they are keeping her until tomorrow and I have to go home and worry. It sucks!

I bought a new car today... Toyota RAV4. Jan talked me into it. I'd do anything for her!
They talked me into getting the extended bumper to bumper warranty, but I severely talked them down. It started as $3500 for 6 years/75,000 miles. Then they went to $1810. Then they made it 7 years/100,000 miles. Then they added another year. Then I sweet-talked em down to $1500 for 8 years/100,000 miles. I think that will be worth it. All I need is one big repair in 8 years to justify it... Other than that, today has been a crappy day... I'm kinda depressed at the moment...

Thank you all for the support! Since her vitals are good, all the tests look good and the CT didn't show anything they've ruled out alot of the worse things it could be. They are pretty sure it's something wrong with her gastric acid.


Congrats on the car KenBen. I've driven one of those a few times, good car. Hope you feel better soon!
