We're so lucky to have so many great ambassadors for the films we love.

Indeed. Unfortunately they are getting older :( Ian Liston passed a couple weeks ago and joined the Force.

Guess this is a good place to ask this instead of making a new thread. Anyone in here ever have a kid after they were already collecting? Just found out my wife is pregnant with our first and it was really unplanned. Like we were jaw dropping shocked. Like Jeff Goldblum "Life finds a way" shocked. So working my way down the list of planning the next 18-25 years of my life (lol), I did get to one of my favorite hobbies, figure collecting.

All my collectibles have their own room in the house and are behind Detolfs. I would like to keep them displayed and not boxed up. So how is parenting a kid to somewhat respect $200-300 "Toys"? Is it worth the try? Do I just buy a padlock for the door? Lol. I know this may seem to extreme to think about considering the news but like I said, I really did think of much important things before this.

We are about to have our first baby and I've been collecting for about two years.

Just put lock on the detolfs, That's what I'm planning to do. The teaching them to respect your collectibles will have to come later (of course it's possible) but once they start crawling nothing not locked away will be safe, atleast if my younger siblings/cousins are anything to go by. :lol

And congratulations!

Well played, sir. :lol

How are you feeling, Kenben? :wave
Eh, I'm OK. Not back to normal though. Made another doctor appointment for tomorrow...

No Ken, I'm not.

Are you cancelling Orlando for real? :(
I'm honestly on the bubble... I'll put it at 60/40 right now...

Thanks for the message Cody! ;)

My sister had hers last Sunday, 3 1/2 weeks early (but he's fine). 8 pounds 5 ounces. Imagine how big he would have been if he had cooked for 3 1/2 more weeks! It's her first, and she's my only sibling, so I'm an Uncle for the first time. She's 48, too! But I guess Janet Jackson has her beat...

Because a I live 45 miles from the good theaters in Tulsa, so it's not as easy as just running down the street. :lol
You have two simple solutions:

1) Move to Tulsa (or Milwaukee)
2) Open a new movie theater in Bumfuc, OK where you live.

Easy peasy! :D
