Saw Ready Player One last night! Definitely changed some things from the book. But still got the job done. Book is better in my opinion just for the way things are done in it, and the depth it can go into for the scenes with no time restrictions. I will be seeing it again though for sure. Lots of stuff going on to watch for. Spawn even made a quick appearance! Woo Hoo!

I totally missed Spawn! I didn't read the book, but may have to. Does it have pretty pictures? I REALLY loved this film. And know I must see it again and again, in order to spot new stuff. A blu-ray purchase is required for slo-mo and freeze frame... Favorite film of 2018 for me, so far!!! I think Blade Runner 2049 was my favorite film last year...

I don't think there were ANY Disney-owned characters anywhere! I didn't spot any.

So I watched TLJ again last night after picking up the Blu-ray. If only a nice fanedit would show up that would remove the whole Canto Bight sequence, it’d be a better film. And that broom kid.

The deleted scenes were, for the most part, pretty decent! Except for the extended scenes. There was actually an extended Canto Bight fathier sequence!!! It was ridiculously long and absolutely HORRIBLE!!! Be thankful they cut it down...

I think my favorite deleted scene was where BB-8 shows Finn a video of Rey visiting him when he was in a coma. It was a short scene, but I really liked it. I don't know why they cut that one... And I liked the scene with the caretakers, and Rey busting in. But I can see why they cut it. It wasn't necessary, and saved several minutes. But I still liked it... And I kinda liked the Phasma scene, where Finn gets to fight her more, and she kills her own troopers. I would have rather had those 3 scenes, than the Canto Bight Fathier race scene...

Did you order it? I'm still holding out. I just don't know where I'd put it! Also, I dropped a lot of coin at Gentle Giant yesterday, with their 30% off in-stock sale. They brought back a lot of sold out PGM items I didn't have... They even still had last year's SDCC exclusives, now 30% off. Man, wish I had waited on buying those...

You should read the book for sure. Watch the movie a couple more times then read it. There is a lot of differences in the way they did the film.

No I haven't ordered the Skiff yet... I probably will at the last minute. Still undecided. 15 hours to go.

I want the skiff, but I don't have that many vehicles to begin with. Just the big wing Tie Fighter and Vintage Collection Slave 1. Never got the big Millennium Falcon or big AT-AT back in the day. Was going to recently pick up one of those Wal-Mart AT-ST's when it went down to $15 on clearance, but somebody got to all of them before I got the chance to pick up one.

I ended up canceling my Sail Barge order. I had the Iron Studios Vader and RS Props Snowtrooper helmet hit last month. I don't have any of the modern Hasbro stuff, so the barge really doesn't fit my current collection.

It would've been cool to own, but I know if would've opened the door of tracking down the big MF and AT-AT and I don't need to go down that path.

I'd rather spend this money on vintage items or another prop replica or two.
