As much as I'm not a SE lover I would jump all over seeing the SEs in theatres. Half of me was a little bummed that Lucas cancelled the 3D editions after the Ep 1 fail, mostly because I wanted to see 4,5 and 6 on the big screen again.

I hadn't heard the others were cancelled.
And of course EP1 failed... it's well... EP1.

I think that cancellation had to do mostly with the Disney purchase of Lucasfilm though. Did you notice that they are going to be screening Episode II at Celebration Europe in 3D! It was completed in conversion, but is not getting a release. Fine by me. Like many others, I was patiently waiting just to see the original three on the big screen again. I don't dig 3D though...

3D Episode 2 is playing at Celebration Europe. Lucky mofos. The footage they showed at C6 looked damn good.

Break for lunch now and then off to Coppola. Wine country is gorgeous!

He's completely gone from the L8TWRTR edits, all because Zam has a line of subtitles explaining where Obi-Wan should go!

Agreed and to be honest, it made me really look forward to ROTS as I knew that of all of them that would look the best in 3D.

Thank the maker for those edits ! They make the PT almost bearable !
