re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

Busy day...

Just checked the mail. Three packages! One is hinges (custom made) for all of R2's opening panels. So that's two R2 things in one day. But another package was from UT! Two awesome R2 USBs and a Lego R2 keychain, which will be my new keychain for sure!!! Haven't even paid for these items yet... Hmmmm...

fury = :D

"THOSE AREN'T PILLOWS!"

No, really. I'm courting indignation here. How does that happen?

I get in fights all the time. I should probably have three times as many infractions as I do, but I'm still golden. Are there offenses that trigger an automatic boot?

Good christ, trolls suck.

I don't understand ppl's need to get into fights on message boards. It's so stupid. If someone says something I don't like or baits me into an arguement I just walk away. There's no point in doing so. I might as well just argue with my cat, it's probably a fairer fight.

Who's John Candy? And yes I know wtf JC is.

:slap

Only one of the greatest comedic actors of all time. He's always been on of my favorite actors. I remember the day he died, a buddy and I stayed up all night and watched his movies. Candy went way to soon. :(

He's a cartoon sometimes.

LOVE THAT SHOW!

Endor Luke is in da house!

NICE! Congrats!!! :hi5:

Too bad it's the SE. :nana:

Hahahaha, I thought the same thing. Though honestly if they brought the SE back to the theatres I'd go see them in a heartbeat.

I want to send more. I told my sister to let him know if he makes it to our family vacation, I'll do what I can with a bigger donation. I'm bribing him! But I'm just a bit torn, because I know it's primarily a missionary type operation, and of course I'm more or less a god-less heathen. My sis and I are somewhat at odds about it. But still, I think he's doing some good for the community, bringing his musical talent and hacky sack skills to the children there. So...

I think it shouldn't matter the core reason for doing good, just the fact that he's doing it. While I don't agree with organized religion, I do appreciate and give gredit for the good things that churches do.

Sweet! Are you building him slowly along the way or gathering parts first?

I hate trolls.

First movie I saw him in was Splash! and my mind was blown. Only other comic actors who could touch him were Richard Pryor and Gene Wilder. I was crushed when I heard that news. Only celebrity death that ever made me feel like I lost a friend.

Got back a little while ago from the Return of the Jedi screening at the Drafthouse. Had loads of fun celebrating the anniversary with my brother. It's amazing how much better the films are on the big screen.

And it was the '97 SE, since no prints have been made since then. So no "Nooooooo!" :)

That must have been awesome!

You speak the truth, my friend. John felt like family. I think I'm going to watch Uncle Buck today. :)

Always loved Armed and Dangerous with John Candy. Also love Brewster's Millions that he's in with Richard Pryor.

As much as I'm not a SE lover I would jump all over seeing the SEs in theatres. Half of me was a little bummed that Lucas cancelled the 3D editions after the Ep 1 fail, mostly because I wanted to see 4,5 and 6 on the big screen again. :(

:lol "God-less heathan"... are those her words? I take it that she's super religious?

Morning brother Waller.

:wave

Keep the wine and give me the country.

I'm more of a beer man, but I do enjoy wine from time to time. Probably won't have more than a couple glasses throughout the day since I'm the driver. We plan on going to Coppola's winery which has some movie memorabilia, so I'm good to go. :D

Oh man!! It's a gorgeous day! I'm jealous.... When's a good time to call you today? I need to find out what time we should be there tomorrow and were to go. :D

No one in your family has any food allergies, do they? We were going to bring dessert.

You can give me a call this evening after you've gotten off work. We should be back here by then.

No allergies and that's very cool of you! I have a few beers in the fridge. What does your wife drink?

She might, might, have a glass of wine, as she's not a drinker at all. It will also depend on which of us is driving home. :lol

My son is graduating from pre-school so they're having a little cerimony tonight at 6:30. I'll try to give you a ring before then.

There's an extra bedroom here if you need it. :lol
