Do I see a Flosi/Waller reenactment of "Sideways?" Who's going to be Miles and who's Jack? :)

What a great f'n film!! I doubt either of us are Miles. :lol Or Jack, for that matter.... just two dicks. :lecture

There's an extra bedroom here if you need it. :lol

:lol Nah, we'll be okay. My wife will most likely not even have a single drink. She's chatty and bubbly sober. :duff

Contact gibby. He got the USBs for ya! :)

The keychain was free on me. :)

Will do, and thank you again! :D

Fury, got the Fanboy book in! Thanks again. :D

Yep! Hope you enjoy it.

Sweet! Are you building him slowly along the way or gathering parts first?

Currently, I'm in the camp of being what is affectionately referred to as a parts collector. In fact, I'm about to order the life form scanner. Another part run I almost missed out on, that's shipping very soon, but there are a couple of extras. Sending payment soon, so I'm going back to zero balance.

The build will be starting very soon. But there is a lot of research involved. There is no definitive step one, step two, you know? So I want to be super careful with all these expensive parts before working on them. I did want all the parts of the dome in hand before working on it and that is about to happen with a run of aluminum logic surrounds!

:lol "God-less heathan"... are those her words? I take it that she's super religious?

She did call me a heathen once. But after I looked it up, I wasn't so offended any more. We all have to cling to the things that get us through. For me it happens to be meditation, and for her. Well, I'm quite happy, because she turned her life around from being a drunken repeat of our father to a wonderful mother. And if it's God that makes that happen, so be it.

There's an extra bedroom here if you need it. :lol

:lol:lol:lol I love how pissed he gets during that scene. I bet Pinot Noir has sold a little better ever since. It's a fantastic film.

Cleaning up a flooded basement :yess:

Our office flooded over the holiday weekend... Some a-hole turned the water on in one of our planter boxes and it flooded the planter then started getting into out conference room, which then kept on going and flooded six offices. We have all these dehumidifiers all over the damn office now.... I just have my door shut since the water didn't get down this far... thank goodness.

I'm more of a beer man, but I do enjoy wine from time to time. Probably won't have more than a couple glasses throughout the day since I'm the driver. We plan on going to Coppola's winery which has some movie memorabilia, so I'm good to go. :D

Virginia Madsen was so sexy in that film.

Totally. I would have pulled a Miles in that situation at well. The scene with him drinking the Cheval Blanc at McDonalds always hits a nerve. :(

That sucks! I heard we had 3.5 inches the other day. That's a crazy amount of rain.

I don't doubt it. It's rained a ton lately and some days it's rained all day hard. So it backing into the basement doesn't surprise me to be honest. It's had no place to go. We need it to stop raining for a good two weeks.

Damn! What an idiot. :slap Insurance guy just left and the basement is covered thankfully. They have some clean up people coming in so we'll be dealing with that for a bit. Just glad it wasn't worse.

Was able to score a ROTJ Perillo print this morning in the Acme Dark Ink drop, at the super secret url of course. Kinda happy about that, as now I'll have the full set thanks to my brother Waller.

Now I can relax. :D

Everyone has their demons, that's for sure. It's wonderful that she's found a way to keep them in check. :duff

It rained crazy hard yesterday... seemed the storm was close to 3 hours long and would alternate between regular rain and monsoon.

At one point in the early evening it was full sunshine and pouring rain; Oklahoma's weather is just crazy.

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

Yeah, we seem to notice in my house that we exchange one demon for another. Drinking becomes born again for some. For me, I poured my obsession into this crap like R2, completing my degree, and zen baby!

It's funny, because I always write my post on the computer, then add the photo mere seconds later by copying the img code and pasting it in on the iPhone. You beat me by a millisecond! Had to happen sooner or later...
