I love the aquarium. One of my favorite places to go to in Chicago. I didn't think they could keep great white sharks in captivity. From what I've read, they always die pretty quickly.

They've had two at the Monterey Bay Aquarium, though they end up sending them back out to the Pacific after some time. I love aquariums too!

It was a huge place! A lot bigger than I expected. Long drive because our iPhone map sent us way fairer their south into the mountains. :slap

We were probably a sight to see. Two guys sitting with their families trying not to ogle the waitress. :lol

:lol I don't think I was too obvious, but you never know. There was also a gal seating people who was wearing a black skirt that kept walking by. :D

It was pretty funny when the first thing your wife said was that she was cute. :lol

I saw the other one, too! Especially when she was leaning over the table across from us. :rock

Man, I'd love to see a great white in captivity. We only have leopard sharks and nurse sharks in our aquarium.

Couple of old perverts in here today. :lol

It's weird, that figure is the only Indy figure I tried to get. But I ordered it from some place in China and I had to fight to get my money back after it never shipped. Last time I did a pre-order on eBay. I learned my lesson.

I'm a big River fan too. :bow

Wow, that sucks. :(

I really wish I had one of those Crumb puppets.

You and me both. I didn't know about it until I was just being released. That looks like a really fun piece.

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

It looks like you can get the Crumb puppet for about $60 on Ebay. What was retail? I was hoping they'd still be around when I went down in July but I see they were limited. I love my Disney Yoda, he wears all of my special event badges.

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

No, they cost money at the 501st party. I just thought you didn't drink. It was later, after the freaks party, when we all stayed out past our bedtimes on Saturday night. You would only let me buy you a soda...

Well somebody bought me a beer then. :horror :lol:lol
I think it may have been Shropt or Swabie.

Oh yeah, you bought me a $6 coke! I remember now. :rotfl

See? I am pretty cheap. :yess:

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

Speaking of Swabie, anyone heard from him lately? I've seen nothing here or Facebook.

He pops up in the art threads I think. Since that's all he collects now, those Mondo posters.

Yeah, he posts once in a while in the two or three poster and art threads, Mondo, not-Mondo, and Star Wars fine art. Not too much. Ken and I caught up with him for about a half hour at WonderCon at the end of March.

Watching the Blackhawks game stream online, drinking beer and chatting with Gibby. Doesn't get better than dis!! :rock

Ask gibby how I'm supposed to get in touch with him.

PM here and text, but I get ugats!

Yeah, Gibby hasn't been around in here in forever... perhaps I scared him off during C2E2. :(

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

I can't tell you how many IM, Text and Board Messages I've gotten crap for over the years because I'm a sarcastic bastard and sarcasm just does not translate well in print. :lol

Haha, same here Cow... same here. :lol

Anyone play the X Wing miniature game? I bought the started set, Falcon and Slave 1. Looks like something fun to play during the summer. The ship models are pretty detailed.

Hey now! The waitress was a boarderline 10. VERY hot. :lecture So we're keeping our perving limited to the upper crust here. :lecture

If anyone is gonna scare gibby off, it's going to be me! :thwak

I miss Gibby. :(

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

Well, I've taken my first step into a larger world, I've begun my PT purge:
Galactiboy's FS Thread

It won't be 100% at this time... I decided to keep my custom Anakin and Kenobi since I'm pretty proud of them and I'll also keep a few other's just to have a "representation" of the PT on a single shelf.

But in total I've got 19 PT figures listed and 3 or 4 more that will be added once I get a few pictures taken :lol
